  Very good

  Amanzing location with great service and food best place at night to hangout and eat but no swimming pool is draw back............. As this is personal experince i visited every tym once in a month and my frdz too..........................

  Very welcoming establishment close to former ancestral home

  My husband's family put us up in this Hotel for the 10 days we spent in Kolkata. It is close to the former 'joint family' ancestral home, now replaced by flats, so an ideal base to see everyone. It was surprising quiet, well-staffed by friendly faces, with breakfast and laundry services, WiFi, t.v. a big bed and plenty of hot water

  Decent Hotel

  Decent hotel for one night stay. The hotel has shops and other department stores nearby. The ambience is quite attractive in the reception area but as the lobby approaches it's all dull and has poor lighting. There are no non-smoking rooms as per the bell boy. So be ready to puff in a good amount of lingering cigarette smell. The room I got had the mixture of smoke smell and moisture. I had to leave the windows open for sometime before settling down. The bathroom, bed and other amenities are decent. The a/c s and the furnitures are old style. I had ordered food little late in the night and was definitely served heated chapati s and curry. Overall a okay hotel to stay if you are in a transit- provided you get a good deal.

  Pathetic and expensive

  The Small reception area, the person on the front desk didnt even had an idea about my booking. For the amount which i had paid for 3 rooms in this hotel, it was very expensive stay and so was the food. Lobby of the hotel is also too small. The room was filled with cigarette smell , the moment i entered. The bathroom- when you sit on the WC, you just need to stretch your hands to touch the bathing tap. Bathroom was too tiny, so was the wash basin. I had booked this hotel from goibibo. Even after repeated calls from their side to the hotel people, they didnt upgrade the room for free. As they had fooled us by this room in the name of deluxe room.This particular so called deluxe room was more lika a cage rather than room. The food here was 3rd class and damn costly. Next day morning, the so called lift stopped working and we had to travel to 3 floors by foot. The location and the room service was good.

  A backpackers lodge and not a family hotel

  I had visited Kolkata as a family vacation and stayed at a luxury room in this hotel. A V basic Budget hotel in a good location. The ambiance is not so good and luxury rooms are conjusted. Cleanliness not given that importance. Good for college hostel boys or backpackers. Does not appear a family hotel. The laundary towels are stinking to the core. The bedsheets are having stains all over and dirty. Not washed properly. The hotel is not worth the price. Prefer this hotel if none in the viscinity are available and - room is available for close to 1000 or less.
