  DISGUSTED

  Terrible. I'm a consitant customer due to my travels. Was accused of smoking in a non smoking room and charged 250$! Apparently finding a cigar "wrapper" is enough to up charge! If I wanted to smoke I would have gotten a smoking room for the same price! Will never get my service again! Disgusting!

  The place to stay in Houma

  The staff was very friendly and pleasant the hotel was very clean and the room was good size with a large sofa 2 TVs. The room faced the street and there was very little noise from the street which is usually not the case in other hotels. Although its out of the way from travel on Hwy 90, I found it to be worth the extra miles to the hotel.

  Holiday Travel

  We stayed at the Fairfield Inn, 6 nights, over the Thanksgiving Holiday. The hotel appeared to be new and in very good shape, clean and inviting. The front desk receptionist was very personable and accommodating. We did wave room service on Thanksgiving to provide their staff a holiday. Our first night we found little water pressure in the sink, Room 209, and I complained at the front desk. There was no correction in the six days. 11/30/19, the room had not been serviced. About 11PM, my wife went to the front desk to get fresh towels. The receptionist said she would pass the info to housekeeping. When she returned there was no hot water. I called the front desk and they said that they would check on it and call me back. No return call but it was fixed in the morning. Contrary to their advertisement, this Fairfield Inn did not have a safe. Apparently the hotel is also "pet friendly". A collared dog was in and out of the lobby and elevators. The breakfast buffet was the standard fare for a Fairfield Inn. Plenty of seating. The hotel did have the required fire suppression system (sprinklers) and smoke detectors. The north side exterior door, electric proximity key lock, was marked as inoperable. The south side exterior door, electric proximity key lock, didn't function. The front desk clerk said that she had locked it. The main front door, electric proximity key lock, required that the receptionist buzz you in after hours. Frustrating if the receptionist is busy or not at the front desk. Overall the visit was pleasant and the accommodation was reasonably priced for the area. Our room was on the back side of the hotel and very quiet, even with the near proximity of the elevator.

  This Property is in Excellent shape, and has a good morning breakfast, hotel staff friendly and make you feel at Home, Recommend to Everyone, seems lot of business travelers use this hotel, probably there are corporate Rates.

  Very nice

  The Fairfield Inn Houma Southeast is clean and comfortable. Everything you want in a hotel. Staff were friendly, especially the older lady working the breakfast. Front desk was polite and welcoming. Only complaint was the lack of bathroom amenities, thanks to the stupid Marriott green initiative. Only one bar of soap and three dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. No makeup remover wet cloth and no lotion. Marriott Bonvoy elite status recognition was pretty basic, but admittedly there isn't anything they could have done. It would have been nice, however, to have been offered a free market/pantry item. I would have no problem staying here again or recommending it.
