  Tranquil, beautiful and romantic

  Stayed here again the weekend before Christmas after having such a pleasant stay last year. Still wonderful, still friendly and still a firm favourite with us. Very much hope to return one day. A beautiful hotel with character and warmth serving well cooked homely food, all against a backdrop of Christmas decorations that tastefully adorned the building. Once again, thank you.

  Great Hotel & Friendly Staff

  We stayed here last year and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly/attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The meals were all very good with plenty of fresh vegetables. We can highly recommend the Sunday carvery-great food and value. As the weather was good we were able to make use of the grounds with our daughter on the huge lawn. The gardens are well kept and there is lots of space. Keep the good work up.

  Afternoon tea

  We attended for a celebration afternoon tea for my daughter's birthday. She had specific dietary requirements which were catered for completely. The receptionist and chef were most conscientious in making sure she would be ok. The dining room was lovely. The only thing we objected to was the inappropriate loud unsavoury chat from the waiter which marred our experience. Such a shame. Won't be returning.

  sunday lunch

  went for sunday lunch at farnham house, poor selection of food on offer, went for the beef and gammon both very rubbery and not very pleasant to eat. what is suppose to be a carvery had very little to choose from for vegetables. standards have dropped, very disappointing. will be looking for alternatives to have enjoy sunday lunch

  Post Covid Restriction Night away at Farnham House Hotel

  This hotel was lovely and the manager was really friendly. We stayed in the room Double Room with Four Poster Bed, with decent view of the grounds. The Room had tea/coffee making facilities), a lovely four post bed (Super comfortable) and was surprised to find the bathroom had a Jacuzzi feature. We had decent breakfast in the morning (Nice cooked breakfast with plenty of cereal and toast options). The grounds were well maintained (Great for walking) and plenty guest parking. Overall as our first venture out since the loosening of restrictions it was a nice stay and would definitely recommend.
