  Third stay of the year in the Faversham, all have been fabulous. The food is excellent and the service efficient but not over bearing. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, but the showers could do with a refresh as the limescale makes them look tired. Will definitely be back.

  Pre Christmas in Helmsley

  Helmsley was a delight and the hotel was festively decorated. We were upgraded to a suite, which was a treat as our original trip was re-scheduled due to Covid restrictions. Chef Adam Jacksons food was divine and the attentiveness of all the Feversham team made our stay so special.

  Disappointing from what we had been recommended

  Upon arrival the hotel ad receptionist was spot on. Very helpful. Once we entered or room, room 4 we were sadly disappointed. What a shame, it was extremely dated. Not clean at all, the duvet on the bed had overal 1/4 of the feathers it shouldve had. Given its £260 per night with dinner B&B I found it too expensive for the state of the room..... The Dining experience was second to none, both staff and food were 100% - such a shame the room spoilt it for us!!

  Another amazing visit!

  We stayed on my birthday after our trip for our anniversary was cancelled due to lockdown. Rachel in the reservations team helped me to book in after a cancellation which I was so grateful for! We also got a free upgrade to a suite which was like a small apartment. It had its own Christmas tree! We absolutely loved staying and the food and service was as good as the last time we stayed way back in 2011! Then we had a lovely walk round Helmsley and a great hike to Rievaulx Abbey! Such a lovely bolt hole in the countryside in such a beautiful location!

  PERFECT IN EVERY WAY - THANKS TO EVERYONE

  Stayed for Christmas - it was an amazing experience. The staff are outstanding and cannot do enough to make your stay extra special. Food was fantastic.and the service was outstanding in all areas. The pool is stunning and Helmsley is such a beautiful little village - we cant wait to return. Thanks to all staff that worked and looked after us - they all went the extra mile to make it a fantastic experience.
