  Nice hotel in Karlstad

  The hotel is located 5 min walk from the center of town. The room is tiny , clean with small window to the river. Parking for 24 hours near the hotel at 130 SEK. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast is ok.

  Nice hotel with very good location

  The location of the hotel is very good, easy to access. Room with double bed was a bit small, but had everything that is needed. Staff was polite and breakfast really good. Parking is not next to the hotel and costs money.

  Great Hotel for a short stay in Karlstad

  Very welcoming receptionist who gave us great tips and ideas for visiting the city. 10% discount for dining at the hotel was excellent because the food was very good. Great location for all the sites to visit and evening walks along the river. Rooms are on the small side, 29 has a small double, we had 31 which was a twin but much larger room. Good breakfast

  Quick summary of good stop over

  Driving between Stockholm and Oslo, this hotel situated next to the modern conference centre is a good place to stay when you are driving between Stockholm and Oslo. Nice polite helpful staff, very clean comfortable rooms, very comfortable bed( a bit narrow, but I,m just to king size) , the lift works well and the studio room I had had a nice view of the river. The nice staff lady advised the customer in front of me of the sights to be seen in the area. There is parking across the bridge for free until 9 am and Oslo I spotted free spots between the hotel and the river, finally there are parking spots for invalids in front of the hotel. The only thing wrong was that my reading light flickers.

  Meetings in Karlstad

  The hotel located just beside the congress centre, it is a small and cozy with it´s six stories and I think only nine rooms on each floor. My room was really nice with double bed and a sitting area, also a nice view over the nearby roofs and canal. Spacious bathroom, and comfortable bed everything immaculate and clean. The breakfast area, adjacent to the lobby is quite quiet, and gives a relaxing start of the day. The usual assortment of breakfast options, but also including Belgian waffles, smoked salmon and more. Parking is offered in a nearby public space at a fixed rate, and you pay in the hotel. If some exercise is desired, the river is just outside and along that you can take a good walk. So good value for money and a very pleasant stay.
