  Un buen hotel en un entorno espectacular pero a precio muy elevado

  Pasamos dos noches por trabajo por lo que no pudimos disfrutar del spa. tuvimos la sorpresa de enviarnos uno a una buena habitación del hotel y a mi a una cabaña de madera a 300 mts de la recepción, grande, con tres habitaciones, en pleno campo y junto al río pero con deficiencias sobre todo en el baño no dignas de esta categoría.Con Wifi solo en el hotel, no en las cabañas. ¡Ah! y con el precio igual de alto que en el hotel. Los desayunos los ofrecen en uno de sus restaurantes, bien sin mas y con el personal no demasiado simpático. En el precio está incluido el spa, lo utilices o no, cosa que no me parace muy justa. Por otro lado los jardines muy bien cuidados en un entorno magnífico.

  Excelentes instalaciones

  Me sorprendió este fantástico hotel en medio de la nada. Entorno espectacular igual que el spa (aunque no me dio tiempo al probarlo). Estilo totalmente británico y habitaciones muy grandes. Tiene varios restaurantes y bares y mucho ambiente todos los días de la semana. Si buscas alojamiento por la zona esto es de lo mejor.

  Muy lindo, confortable personal muy amable atento para dar lo que necesitas , un entorno de película, habitaciones amplias y muy limpias, especial para descansar luego de un día de trabajo, vale el precio algo elevado

  Winter Wonderland 2020 - A magical stay

  We decided to treat ourselves this Christmas to the Winter Wonderland experience in Galgorm resort and spa after what has been a less than ideal year (COVID-19). And boy am I glad we did! This package included 2 nights stay over the festive period (Xmas Eve-Boxing day). The package also included afternoon tea, Christmas eve 3 course dinner, 5 course Christmas Day lunch, breakfasts, light supper on Christmas Day, as well as many other small treats throughout the stay. There was no shortage of food, if anything there was too much (not complaining!), we didnt ever feel hungry! All food to high standard and super tasty! There were so many additional touches that made this stay that little bit extra and Christmasy, including complimentary mini bar, treats on pillows and goodies on arrival, stockings on doors, our own Xmas tree, mulled wine and festive punches... and so so so much more. There was even a very generous gift for every guest on Christmas Day (Ill not spoil it!). The resort and grounds are decorated beautifully, definitely take a stroll out to the gardens to see all wonderful lights and decorations! But I think, the thing that made our stay feel so special and above all, was the friendly, helpful and very pleasant staff. Staff communication via telephone contact/email prior to attending was so inviting and comforting. Then within those first few steps into the resort, you met the Wonderful Maurice and you instantly feel at ease! But absolutely every member of staff are delightful and so welcoming! Everyone is so cheery and pleasant to talk to. Everyone, no matter who you are, is treated so special! You wont get customer service like it anywhere else. For those wondering would it suit couples like we initially wondered... yes, it wud suit couples (old/young), families, extended families! It literally would suit absolutely anyone, all the itinerarys are tailored to you, so if you are like us and dont have kids, theres still a lot of adult friendly things to do! And those with kids, if its any reassurance, all the kids seemed to be having a wonderful time! The only thing I would suggest is that you bring your own hairdryer. I usually would bring my own hairdryer anytime Im away but was trying to pack a bit lighter due to the additional gifts we were bringing. The hairdryer provided did not blow any hot air. Although room service kindly swapped our hairdryer on request, the replacement hairdryer had the same issue. I think you would find the same case with many hotels, hence why I usually bring my own with me (so not a complaint, just a tip). However as a positive, the room had an iron, much to my husbands delight, as he is one of those people who would bring the iron with him on a normal basis! Overall a magical experience! Would highly recommend!

  Hands down the best spa hotel I've been to ever

  I've been to the Galgorm a couple of times (I blame my cousin for introducing it to me and now I can't stop going). Last September I went with my sister for a nights stay. This place has everything. Even just the hotel is wonderful, everything is thought of, every inch is clean and well looked after. There are loads of bits to explore, restaurants and bars etc. p.s the bar is amazing, I have a cocktail I like that is off menu they made it for me without a seconds thought. But, the most amazing part has to be the spa. I hadn't been since the new bit had opened. We were lucky enough to be there at the start of September with the indian summer so it was like being in Spain (honestly I barely believe myself but it's true). The facilities are incredible, there is everything and anything you could want. We had booked very last minute so there were no treatments available (I imagine less staff due to covid and that's completely fine). To be honest I didn't miss a massage, we were not bored for one second. We had a deluxe room so we could use the spa in the morning and we used every last second of it! A quick shout out to all the staff who made us feel so comfortable with covid - so safe, so clean and just really clear and well thought out rules that meant everyone was compliant. We stayed in the Slieve Donard the week after (lovely hotel don't get me wrong) but their messaging was a bit confused so not many people were wearing masks and it didn't leave us feeling great. I'll be back! See you soon.
