  EN EL CENTRO DE SUIZA Y RODEADO DE IMPRESIONANTES CUMBRES ALPINAS.

  Somos una familia de cuatro personas y estuvimos muy cómodos en una habitación que tenia unas vistas magnificas al valle y las montañas. La habitación tenía una cocina que te permitía hacer algo de comer. Los desayunos muy buenos y un ambiente acogedor.

  Small and family owned hotel

  Well situated cosy hotel. Service minded staff. Comfortable beds. Rather small bathroom. Extra plus with the balcony with mountain view. Taste breakfast. Easy to park. Train station outside the entré which is comfortable but also disturbing when the train pass.

  Great Place to Stay!

  A small but very friendly and cozy hotel. We stayed in the Spannort Suite which fit 5 of us really comfortably and there is a huge balcony to chill or even to build a snowman in the winter as there's plenty of snow here. Check out photo of balcony covered in snow during our stay early in Jan 2019. The village shuttle comes every half hour and stops right in front of the hotel. The Engelberg train station is about 150m walk away. Pharmacy, Coop and Migros are also less than 10 mins walk away. From some of bad reviews, the blame kept going back to reception but our experience here was so fabulous that I had to give this hotel its due credit. The owner was a gentleman and checked on us every morning during our breakfast. Offered plenty of good suggestions and we could even purchase discounted cable car tickets directly from the hotel. He even drove us to the train station personally on departure as it was snowing heavily. Very happy with our stay at this hotel.

  Small boutique hotel, with a real Switzerland atmosphere.

  A small, very well run hotel, The rooms are small but very comfortable, You have everything you need, from the sower to the large TV. Breakfast is fantastic, with a variety of foods and the most friendly help you can get anywhere. Coffee and tea facilities in the room and a balcony that lets you see the mountains in all their glory. Value for money, yes, but I would take half a star out as there is not a place to sit and relax with other guests.

  Strange Books int he hotelroom

  Te hotel is OK, not great but OK, but 4 us our group got sich after our stay, not sure however if this was the hotels fault but its a fact that we got sick. The breakfast and hotel as such are OK, but what really is NOT OK AT ALL in my opinion is that in your room (and you pay for that room) they try to sell you some totally strange book of some kind of GURU, it made us feel totally strange. If I pay for a hotel room I do not want to be bothereed with strange GURU books of some sorrt and pushed to buy some strange literature. Its a total no go for me and hence, i will never go back to this hotel. Anyone can buy any book they want and be part of any group they want but to try and force your cusotmers to do the same, this is a total NO GO in my opinion.
