  Worst Hotel Experience

  I came for the Canton Fair and I picked this for the free shuttle to and from. Unfortunately, I didn't realise most hotels in the area will also offer this but don't heavily advertise this as it's not the only redeeming quality. The bed was the hardest I've ever encountered, the first night no one understood me so I didn't sleep. The wifi would not connect to my phone so I had to go out and buy a simcard to let my husband know I was safe. The second night the manager put a quilt on my mattress it was hard but the springs weren't digging into my back. He also connected my phone to the internet, unfortunately the connection was so poor I couldn't do my work. The breakfast was terrible, the only thing I could eat was the eggs which were overcooked and dripping in oil, watermelon and the juice. The coffee was like sludge. The pizza shop downstairs Ginstar was the only thing that saved me. The room was big, but it smelt and was really outdated. The final kick in the teeth was on checkout I was charged for using the soap. It was not complimentary I had no idea as there was nothing in English. I truly recommend you spend double the amount and stay at a 5 star western hotel unless you can tolerate these inconveniences.

  Nice Getaway

  We recently stayed at the hotel in November to celebrate our Anniversary. It was cold and rather snowy. However the atmosphere of the hotel was charming and warm. All staff were wonderful and caring. would not hesitate to go back again. Kathy P.

  Got what you paid for - good price, comfortable accommodation

  This hotel was selected as part of a tour of China - I found the hotel to be very clean and accommodating, the restaurant was okay though very busy on the night, staff had no idea about wine, red wine chilled, white wine wasn't. The staff were all very pleasant even though they didn't speak English, tried to help you however they could. Located across the road from a shopping centre. All in all I would give this hotel a thumbs up.

  Decent hotel with exceptional staff

  Stayed there over the weekend to spend some time away. Nice rooms, good food and amazing service. Deborah had amazing knowledge of the surrounded area and made my stay a pleasure. Would return. Pool and sauna is ok too

  Good value for money and an awsome Spa located in the Hotel.

  Clean Great breakfast Shuttle to and from Canton fair was great. Friendy staff. The Spa in the hotel has to be the best massage i have ever experienced. The services and staff were amazing, and well priced. The resturant on the ground level makes a decent pizza.
