    Clean Rooms

    We have Hilton frequent customers and belong to their loyalty program and patronize their products so decided to check out the Hampton in Ardmore. they did have clean room and it was quiet enough but they certainly don't recognize that you're a member of anything and give you zip for either bottles of water or any treats for being a silver level member. the check-in clerk was really unfriendly and while she did do her job we felt as it we were unwanted family members coming to stay. I've never had such a cold greeting in any Hilton property. I think she needed customer service training in the worst way. The rooms were clean and quiet and just what you'd expect from a HAMPTON INN. The breakfast was o.k. though no Raisin Bran or any other type of high-fiber cereal available. The yogurt was in a large container on ice but no individual containers available. The spoon was HUGE and hard to maneuver to serve yourself without getting either too much or too little.

    Online reservations and early check-in room choices not honored

    We had an extremely disappointing stay this weekend. We booked our room through the Hilton Honors app 3 weeks in advance of our stay. The day before our arrival, we were able to check-in early and select our room through the app as well. We arrived promptly at 3 p.m. to complete our check-in and get our keys. Front desk staff told us our room was not clean yet. They offered to move us, but the room choices we were given were right by the elevator, so we declined and stated we would like to keep the room we chose on the app. We left to attend our daughters softball game, and when we returned after 7 p.m., a different employ was working and informed us that we were booked for a king suite, but our reservation and early check-in was for a double queen room. Our early check-in room choice was no longer available and our reservation had been changed without our acknowledgement or approval. The staff member proceeded to tell us that all the double queen rooms were sold out and that there was nothing she could do. She made us feel like we were being unreasonable to expect that the room reservation and choice we had on the app shouldn't have been given to another guest. We asked to speak to a manager, but she was not onsite and would not be able to be there until an hour later. We had another softball game to attend, and let them know we would return after 10 p.m. and expected to speak to the manager then. When we returned late that evening, a double queen room had been found to be vacant, but there was still no manager there to speak with us. We never received an apology for the mishandling of our reservation or how the front desk staff treated us. Sunday morning, the dining area was disgusting: dirty tables, food on the floors, and overflowing trash cans. Food items and water pitchers were not being replenished in a timely manner.

    Wow!

    We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Ardmore for two nights. We were completely blown away by this property! It rivals our stays closer to home (Orlando/Tampa). The room was newer, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely perfect. Fresh fruit, juices, yogurt smoothies, etc. The breakfast attendant was fast and friendly. Upon check-in we were given an upgrade for being gold Hilton Honors. No questions asked as it was just given. Keep up the great work, Hampton Inn Ardmore! You could teach your counterparts in Mustang, Oklahoma a few things.

    Comfortable Beds

    The front desk clerk was very accommodating and friendly. The beds were comfortable and plenty of towels. The room had an odd odor, but it didnt interrupt our stay. The cooling unit worked well. Due to Covid, they provided a sack of snacks , water and coffee.

    A complete and utter disaster

    We have family in Ardmore so we regularly travel to Ardmore and almost always stay at this Hampton Inn but we will not stay here ever again. This visit the woman who checked us in was impaired by either alcohol or drugs. It took her between 10 and 15 minutes to get the keys for our three rooms and she kept giggling in a very off way. She had a friend behind the desk with her who just stood there and gawked at everyone. The line was long by the time she finished with us. Then we went to our rooms and each one had the air conditioning turned off so the rooms were over 88 degrees (mind you it is 102 in Ardmore right now?!?). It took our rooms 5 hours to cool off. We asked the woman at the desk about it and she openly laughed at my husband and said "the maids must have turned them off". My son saw another traveler in the lobby who asked my son if his room was "as hot as Hades too". The hallways were also unbearably hot. The desk clerk sat in the back room with her legs on the desk and never came to the front desk when we came to the lobby after we checked in. On our floor, there was trash in the hall in front of several rooms. There was nothing in the hotel about Covid measures or cleanliness or anything. Truly the worst hotel experience we have EVER had. We regularly stay at Hiltons because we are Diamond members and truly could not believe the horrid state of this property. It is an embarrassment for Hilton. We stayed at two other properties on our trip and they were the exact opposite. Everyone wore masks, social distancing measures were in place, and our desk clerks were not inebriated.
