  Used to be nice - NOT ANYMORE

  Don't book a room here - PLEASE. There are long-term guests (looks like utility workers) staying at the Heritage Hotel now - we know that because we were put in a room in the middle of that floor (second). The hallway was filled with garbage and laundry that had not been picked up in days. We were told, when checking out the next day, that this was because housekeeping only came twice a week. Okay...great. But I digress - the best part was that at 2 am in the morning we were awakened by the drunk, arguing couple next door. We picked up the phone to call the front desk - we were afraid someone was going to get hurt - only to find that the phone was dead. Had to head all the way downstairs to alert the front desk manager, who, instead of apologizing, was annoyed to be bothered at all. He knocked on their door - magically the arguing stopped - so he just left it at that and stomped back downstairs. The yelling was soon replaced by loud snoring, but that's much better than the alternative. Save yourself and stay somewhere else!

  Never disappointed

  This hotel and resort always exceeds our expectations. Staff are incredibly courteous and helpful, and the rooms are good sized and have all the amenities. We always use the fitness center and we never have to wait. The staff there are always helpful and keep the area very clean. The grounds and all common areas are always spotless and the views are beautiful.

  A great little getaway

  We visited the hotel to use the indoor pool, hot tub and fitness center. We were also excited to explore Southbury. All of the staff was very helpful. For example, the women at the front desk upgraded our room and gave us one in close proximity to the pool. She also gave us a list of local places to eat, which was very nice! The room was comfortable and clean. The facility pool area and fitness center was not crowded and was nice. My kids had a great time swimming and I love relaxing in the hot tub. By the way, Mercato restaurant was amazing for dinner or lunch!!

  The property needs attention

  This property has not been updated since I began staying here in 1998. Everything is literally the same. The rooms are in need of a major over haul. The owners need to drop some money into this property or simply close.

  Heritage Hotel is a gorgeous place to visit. The staff is Amazon. They are all genuienly friendly.

  I stayed at the Heritage Hotel, Spa,Golf & Business Center. The property is absolutly gorgeous. The River side room is very peaceful & quaint. Over looking the River & the Golf Course was awesome. I can't wait to play some golf. The room was lovely, aside from a few quick fixes by the Staff. Everyone was very friendly & accomodated my needs. The heated pool & hot tub was also a great addition to my experience. I can't wait for the Sauna to reopen & the Spa. The gym is the size of a football filed or larger. All of this can be seen from the lobby área on the first floor. There are beautiful tables where you can enjoy a private dinner or cocktail. The Tavern Restaurant is something I look forward to trying. I will definitly be a return guest. I plan to join the River Walk Health Club as well. Thank you to the entire Staff at the Heritage Hotel. Mary, Katlyn, & Ed are all so friendly & proffesional. 5+ STARS from me.
