  Great staff

  2 x superstar staff: Brady and Tahna, both made my colleague's and my stay really stand-out. For sure this will be my go-to stay in N Minneapolis. Nice place but seriously limited by covid: no meals, no pool, no bar. Water park looks really fun.

  Extremely Good Customer Service

  I needed to stay at a hotel for a while. I wasn't sure how long I'd need to stay or what my exact requirements from a room were. (Would I eventually need a stove, or would a microwave do?) The manager Tracey patiently explored all the options with me and helped me select the most appropriate room and duration. I had a lot on my mind that day, and I needed some help taking in all the information. Not once did I get the impression he was getting annoyed or bored repeating the same information again. He always seemed glad I was considering staying there. Late that night, I needed to scan some documents. I logged in to the computer at the business center and tried to get the scanner working. The fellow working the front desk, I think his name was Bill, helped me out with the scanner. I ultimately couldn't use it because it needed to install software updates or something. So he simply offered to scan my documents himself using the back office's scanner. There was some back-and-forth. I scanned enough documents that it took several minutes for the email to go through. So when I didn't see the email right away, he offered to go scan them again and do some trial and error. (The first attempt worked, it just took a while to transfer since the scan was so large.) At every point in the interaction, he was completely friendly and helpful. Never a hint of boredom. I honestly got the impression he thought he was put on Earth to make sure I could scan my documents. I chatted a little bit with Tahna when I was checking out. She was very helpful and friendly when making sure my paperwork and bills are in order. When I stayed there, the hotel was nearly empty. COVID had clearly taken its toll on demand for their rooms. In times like this, the folks named in this review are exactly the kind of people a hotel wants behind that front desk. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Yeah, and the rooms were tidy and everything in working order.

  Excellent Customer Service

  I continue to return to this hotel on my business trips solely because of the awesome people that work here. Brian in the bar is wonderful company to chat with when you're traveling alone. He remembers conversations from previous trips and asks how work and family is which is very special and unexpected. He makes you feel at home when you're not. Also, Tahna at the front desk is a gem, she is such a kind and happy face to see at the end of a long day. The staff here truly makes each stay enjoyable.

  1st floor flop

  Staff was very nice. Hotel wasnt in too bad of condition either you could tell staff is doing their best to keep it clean. Nice place to stay if you dont mind hearing doors slamming in your room all night long. The worst part of the stay were the other patrons. Its like theyve never stayed in a hotel before. Super loud and slobby.

  Semi-clean room, packed pool

  We were so excited to take our kids to this waterpark for the weekend. They had a great time overall, but the pools were full, all the time. They claim they stay at 25% capacity and you have to sign up for times to be there, neither were the case. Very few masks, definitely no distancing. The reason we chose this hotel was because we were assured that the pools would not be packed full of people... that being said, its a neat pool area, the slides were fun and the splash area for toddlers was great. The lobby bar was not open much which we werent surprised, but they still had coffee which was very good, available all day in the lobby as well as ice eater. There were concessions available randomly in the pool area, def not masks or distancing there when it was open. Our room was a bit disappointing. The beds were comfortable, but as I wiped down the room, I noticed it just wasnt very clean. Dusty around the lamps, the floor wasnt very clean, the bathtub hadnt been cleaned out, and there were random hairs everywhere. Then water started dripping from the ceiling.... the streaming from the ceiling! A toilet overflowed above us. We didnt want to move rooms as we were leaving the next morning, so we stayed. The staff apologized and offered us $50 off our room, 2 free breakfasts and some arcade tokens. We appreciated that. Overall, we would come again but only because of the waterpark. Hoping for cleaner rooms next time.
