  Average hotel with high end price

  Stayed 5 days June 2017. Pool is not usable, restaurant is nice and clean, food is fairly good but room, toilet and internet is pathetic. The only plus is the proximity if you are not compelled i would advice searching any alternate. My room was adjacent to laundry where a lot of noise is provided free of charge...

  Not terrible, but....

  I have made the mistake of staying here many times. That has made me really tired of the place. But in faireness, the location is good, warmwater is working, the rooms in the front-building are decent ( the ones in the back-part are terrible-ish), the internet is working fairly well, and some of the food in the restaurant is good. Ethiopian coffee for breakfast is great in this Nescafe-backwater. The breakfast though is not good at all. Fried but cold potatoes, cold fried eggs, dry croissant. And worst of all, the waiters in the restaurant have no change, they want everyone to put it all on their room tab, and become slightly hostile when you insist to pay cash.

  Not the best

  I picked this hotel mainly because they had an airport shuttle. I emailed the hotel prior to my visit to arrange the airport shuttle for my departure flight from Niamey airport, and they confirmed that all was in order. However, upon reaching my last night in Niamey, I went to reception to confirm the shuttle for the next day, and was told that because my flight departed early in the morning, there would be no driver available to take me to the airport. This is completely unacceptable- I had to scramble a taxi with the help of my tour agency, which got me out of this mess. The room in general was comfortable and well equipped. Wi-fi was a little on the slow side but did the job just fine. The only saving grace about this hotel was the restaurant- dinner was simply fantastic and well priced, and the buffet breakfast was very good too.

  Stay elsewhere

  If you can avoid Homeland hôtel. The bathroom, toilets were terrible in the room. And the bin had not been emptied. The only positive: internet and the breakfast coffee. I only stayed one night but will not stay there ever again. Assia

  Nice Labyrinth Place in Central Location

  The hotel is not far from the airport and other government offices if that is your reason to visit Niamey, this allows to bypass traffic in the mornings and at the close of work. The breakfast baguette was really good and brewed coffee was the best I have had in two weeks of travels through multiple countries. The prices at the restaurant were reasonable, there are also other eating options walking distance from the hotel.
