  Hotel familiar

  En el hotel Adler Post te sientes como en casa. Es un hotel familiar y Tessa, la gerente, es encantadora. Las habitaciones y los baños están un poco anticuadas pero se suple con todo lo demás. Tienes todo lo que necesitas para una escapada laboral y la ubicación es ideal, pegado al castillo.

  Perfect for one night

  Very friendly service, excellent breakfast and perfect location, but the rooms are a bit dated. We stayed for one night while attending a concert in the Schlossgarten. The hotel is a close as you can be (~200m). The rooms are clean, spacious, have a well working air condition but are a bit dated and have carpets. The breakfast is excellent with a big choice of high quality products. All in all we were very happy but we wouldn't stay there for a longer period of time. Rates are on the upper end for what you get.

  excellent hotel with big tradition!

  Since 2002 I have spent 15 days in August every second year in this family-owned hotel. I highly recommend this delightful hotel with rooms for every taste, a large breakfast buffet and kind personnel to fulfill your wishes. It is situated next to the castle (Schloss Schwetzingen), where there is a lavish rococo-theater, in which Mozart (and more recently I, your humble servant...) played.

  A perfect base

  Our first visit to this area and we certainly chose a great hotel in a perfect location. It was so nice to experience the ambiance of a family owned hotel. The room was spacious,very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the excellent buffet breakfast and friendly service.

  Excellent stay!

  We spent a couple of nights here - we were attending a concert in the Schlossgarten in early Aug 2019. It was super convenient for this, as the entrance to the grounds of the castle are literally steps away from the hotel. The town centre location is also excellent due to the proximity to the outdoor cafes and pubs in the square facing the castle. The hotel has its own secure parking (they park your car for you and have it ready for you to drive out at an agreed time the next morning). This worked out very well and the cost was not unreasonable. Our room on the ground floor was in good condition, plainly furnished but with everything required, including aircon (recently installed I believe), flatscreen TV, free wifi, fridge and safe. The aircon was absolutely essential at this time of year due to the heat and humidity outside. Breakfast was fine - the usual continental items with some good quality bread, coffee and cold meats / cheeses etc, with plenty of room for all the guests. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly people - just as we'd expected from the other positive reviews. Be aware that its a small family run business and that the reception is not open late into the evening - no problem at all for us though as we arrived during the daytime. We will absolutely stay here again without any hesitation if our travels take us back to Schwetzingen.
