  A postcard experience, excellent service and great accomodations!!

  I have vacationed in many places in the Caribbean but nothing compares to what we experienced in this extraordinary resort. We stayed at the Blue Ocean Reef Hotel during the first week of September. The resort shuttle picked us up promptly from the airport, which was really nice!! Mike and Todd, property managers, made us feel very welcome and took care of everything for us...when I say everything I mean "everything". The staff is there to ensure your maximum enjoyment so don't be shy, ask them anything. We stayed in condo #210, spacious, nice amenities all around, kitchen was fully equiped with all the necessary cooking gear, and we had a great view of the ocean. The property has its own beach and the water there had no rocks. Great snorkling just off the property!! Alejandro, a member of the staff, gave us a private tour to their zoo..Yes, they have their own zoo!! We were able to play with some of the animals...it was great fun!!! Folks, make no mistake about it, this resort is unlike any other. We felt like we were in one of those Corona comercials...this is the best way I can describe the experience. We want to thank Josh, Mike, and Todd for making us feel like home. Cesar for being available for anything including taking us to the airport on time!!, Marisa for an amazing massage and making us the best crab soup we ever had and lastly but not the least Alejandro for picking up the crab in the middle of the night on site and showing us the zoo...you all made us feel very special and and we can't wait to see you again!! We are already planning a trip to return early next year with more friends!!

  Booked but didn't stay

  We just got back from an amazing trip in Roatan and fortunately were able to switch hotels from the Blue Ocean Reef where we had booked and already paid for our stay to Infinity Bay. Mike the manager was super nice when he toured us of our amazing villa letting us know there were no restaurants yet or gym or most of the things that are advertised on their website. It's basically 11 unbelievable villas, a small pool, and beach. We truly debating staying when he mentioned the amazing chef they have that would cook whatever we wanted for $15/meal and the beauty of the setting. Unfortunately, the location is very isolated and as we asked more we would have to pay about $20 each way to get to anything else on the island (West End, West Bay area) and the roads aren't so good so it takes about 30-45 min as well. Mike got on the phone with me and authorized a full refund so I feel he is a very admirable and wants people to enjoy their stay. For us, it was just too expensive and getting more expensive if we included all the transportation to other places. If you are looking for a beautiful, remote place so stay - This is the spot. I'm sure Mike will accommodate your every need.
