  Very basic, clean, in center of town

  Stayed here last week. Very basic accommodation but clean and in center of the little town of Itu. Very friendly staff. Nice lobby and cute little pool courtyard off of the lobby. Walking distance to main square for a drink then onward to bar do alemao for dinner if you wish. I will warn you though that this place can be loud in the morning as you can hear every shower turn on, every footstep in the hallway, every door close, etc. No carpet so everything echos. Reminds me of a college dorm in the style of furnishings, construction and noise level.

  Tremendous value

  I may be partial, but this hotel gets to feel a little more like home every time I stay. The staff is easy to work with and if there is any communication/language issue, a computer terminal is always at the ready to help with translations. The rooms are basic but comfortable. Internet is always a little iffy, but with great service in the lobby. Coffee is always available and there is a small little bar. But always, the breakfast is superb, excellent choices in fruit, pastries and panninis. And although the pool is not heated, making it unusable in the winter, it is beautiful to sit around, share a drink and spend time with friends. And it is really tough to beat the sound of the waterfall in the background. And on top of it all, it is extremely well located right near the center of town with all the shops. And if you are into pizza, La Bonna right next door is one of the best you will find anywhere.

  Agradable, buena ubicación, tranquilo, es mas de turismo que negocios. Buen desayuno y tarifa media. Recomendable aunque también hay mejores alternativas como el Plaza Inn por un poco mas de dinero. Fue solo una noche y estuvo bien, llegué tare y salí temprano por lo que es poco lo que podria decir

  Friendly, helpful and great value

  I have been staying here for over 10 years. Close to the central old town plaza, right off the main avenue. Rooms are simple but immaculately maintained. Staff is amazing. Huge smiles when you walk in, every time. Has garage parking beneath the hotel so you don't have to leave your car on the street, and there is no charge. Rooms are very affordable. Grounds are beautiful. Breakfast in the morning is excellent. Fresh fruit, cheese, pastries, self-made panninis, and if you ask, eggs the way you want them. And the flan is superb.

  Continues to please

  I have been staying at this hotel for 12 years now. Has always been clean and welcoming and incredibly friendly and helpful, but was getting a little dated. They are currently in the midst of a remodel and it is really nice. All new tile and marble in the bathrooms and new entry doors with tap key locks. As always the breakfast spread is second to none. One of my favorite places in the world just got a whole lot better!
