  Bonito

  El hotel está bien situado, algunas habitaciones con bonita vista. Nuestro cuarto era amplio, la cama confortable y el baño grande, pero la vista era a las casas y techos de enfrente, por lo que el precio que pagamos me pareció muy elevado. El restaurante es caro, pero sabroso. Pero tuvimos la mala suerte de que una de las meseras que atendía parece que estaba entrenando y le era más importante seguir el protocolo, "tres comme il faut", que satisfacer el gusto y las necesidades de nosotros. No me sentí bien con esa atención. El desayuno, incluido en el precio de la habitación es un vasto bufete muy sabroso que se disfruta en las mesas de la terraza con muy bonita vista.

  Buen hotel

  El hotel está bien, tiene justo lo básico que puedes necesitar para descansar. Tal vez el punto negativo es que no tiene ascensor. Es obviamente comprensible dado que se trata de una edificación antigua, pero si vas con personas mayores puedes llegar a tener alguna dificultad con esto. Aparte de esto, todo estuvo bien.

  Lovely setting food nothing special

  A very relaxed setting for a formal dinner with friends. The service was very good and relaxed, however, it was very expensive for a 3 star hotel and the food let it down. My fish starter was a little dry and again my fish main course was bland. Although I didnt have a dessert both my friends LOVED theirs. Prob wouldnt go back but glad we tried it. Too expansive for the standard of cuisine.

  A 'Curate's Egg'...sadly not what we hoped for

  Firstly the good points....the staff we came across when we arrived at the Reception and in the Dining room during dinner were absolutely charming...but oh what a 'sum of two halves'. A Reviewer in Dec 2017 summed it up so well...it could be so much better. I see 'Le Patron' doesnot take kindly to gentle criticism and indeed many people have been very happy..sadly we were not..we stayed on a Sunday night and asked in advance if the dining room was open. It is normally closed but they said that as a group was staying and eating , they could give us the same meal (no choice)for 29 euros per head.. bot cheap for a menu prix fixed.. but the hotel looked so luxurious we accepted. The meal was 'ok'but not exceptional ...pumpkin soup...rather tepid...then a small piece of bass on a wee round of ratatouille followed by a very good chocolate/pear tourte..the chef came to ask us if it was ok...we nodded but did not say anything else..as itwas ok ish.... The exterior and dining room are gorgeous but as the other Reviewer said..the upstairs is a different story especially for the price..I post photos that say it all...blackgrouting..basic soulless room..we have stayed in better traveller formula hotels for much less. Breakfast is 13 euros...when weight downstairs at about 9am...the big group staying had eaten most ofthe buffet so we did not partake !! Unlike the delightful staff the night before..the lady on Reception..whe we complained about the black grouting and the hairs on the bathroom floor...she not have cared less..very bad tempered..no apology..so we left feeling frankly furious and sad as I had researched it (I thought) so well...and we needed a lovely evening and rest before another very long journey. To add to this...the first room we were offered no 108 had the smallest and lowest bed..we were moved to 110..bigger slightly higher bed..but as basic a room as you can get. I am sure La Patron will post an indignant reply of which I then have no right of reply !..However he can check that I give credit effusively when credit is due..sad..it could be wonderful...as the Reviewer said before..photos to prove my point....

  Excellent hotel, in a great and authentic place

  We stayed in this hotel during 3 nights in November with a group - the staff was wonderful, the food is of the highest level and the place is really authentic and makes you feel that you travel on time. Any request or question was answered with a lot of professionalism. I firmly recommend to come and stay here, at least to have an outstanding dinner or a fresh and "home made" breakfast!
