  Wonderful as always

  Everything we could wish for. So comfortable and relaxing. So well looked after by the lovely team. Excellent location in the middle of the village. We come to this hotel every year and have never been disappointed

  Excellent location, room a bit tired

  We visited the hotel du bourg for a couple of nights so we could experience the alps in the summer. It is in an excellent location, right in the middle of town. The public areas are warm and appealing and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit tired though, and the bathroom tiny and very dated. It could really do with a simple redesign and basic refurb to make it a true three star.

  Always a pleasure

  The management and staff never fail to please, this will be or 12 visit in total to this wonderful hotel in Valmorel and we always look forward to our next visit On this trip sadly we had to cut it short due to my wife sustaining and injury whilst skiing however what was far beyond normal service on hearing of my wifes accident before she was off the mountain David and his staff swept into action, knowing she would be on crutches they immediately changed our room from a second floor to a ground floor location and this was during one of their busiest days thank you guys so very much. We look forward to returning in March (fingers crossed on my wifes recovery of an injured knee). David, Veronique, Adrienne and all the staff are superb and always make our stay here in this beautiful village warm and welcoming Robin and Ruth

  Functional but great location!

  You would be hard pressed to find a hotel better located than Hotel du Bourg, its right in the centre of the ski village with only a short walk to the main village chair lift. The hotel is very functional but clean and has everything you need, the pub gets very busy but has a good atmosphere and well priced compared to the rest of the village. All the staff were very helpful and attentive. We will definitely stay here again if skiing in Valmorel!

  Just as good the second time

  Returned for another Ski holiday and hotel just as good as ever. Brilliant base for skiing in Valmorel. Comfortable rooms, brilliant breakfast and nice cosy bar. Lots of excellent restaurants on the doorstep. Staff welcoming and helpful. What more could you want.
