  Caro y alejado

  Si buscas visitar Viena a buen precio y en buen lugar no es tu sitio. Si te encuentras con una ola de calor,tampoco. No hay aire acondicionado en las habitaciones así que hay que dormir con la ventana abierta por donde entran mosquitos que te dejan acribillado a picotazos. El agua llega caliente a los grifos a menos que dejes correr un rato el grifo hasta que salga fresca. La recepción está cerrada por la noche, se entra con una contraseña, eso es bueno... Salvo que no te lo hayan dicho antes, claro, y estés llamando como un tonto al timbre durante 10 minutos. El desayuno es muy mejorable, la habitación no dispone de nevera. Llegar al centro de Viena te toma media hora desde la estación, a la que llegas en 5-10 minutos. La limpieza es muy buena, eso si, y el personal amable.

  friendly staff,

  Friendly staff, good location, quiet, service good. Small room, good shower. Breakfast limited. no insect blinds on winds, so winged pests if you leave window open. Used the italian arround the corner for dinner which was very nice

  It's ok

  There's nothing much to say about this hotel. It suited us by its location and availability, it was clean, but it felt a bit cheap (which is not). However, don't get me wrong, there's nothing really wrong with it - it's a good choice. Mattress could be better. Breakfasts were quite good with an excellent choice of pates.

  Pleasant and comfortable

  We stayed for a weekend here and found the hotel friendly, comfortable , clean and quiet. A pleasant twenty minute walk from the centre of the town but minutes from the train. Family run makes a good change from chain hotels and a trust bar was good to see. Breakfast was good and very much the European standard fare. As other reviewers have noted, the Italian restaurant round the corner is very good for dinner. Would stay again if we were in the town.

  Very friendly staff, in the proximity of Wien

  We stayed there 3 nights, including the new years eve. The stuff is really nice and willing to help you in all the matters. I got valuable information, including transportation and parking in Wien, but also availability of some restaurants (they actually called the restaurants for me) for new years eve. The breakfast is good, not the best we had ever (for example no wurst or no other warm food beside poached eggs), no other type of prepared eggs but really good for a few days stay. If I would stay more than 3-4 days probably I would've liked more diversity. There is Wifi in the room for free, rooms are clean and spacious, but actually there is no closed parking place and you have to park on the street in front of the hotel - for free. It's near the sidewalk which for me was a bad luck as somebody during the new years eve broke my Touareg's rear break lights with some hard object according to the trace it left - so +200EURO collateral damages/expenses. It's not the hotel's fault, but it wouldn't have happened in a closed parking place. The place is in a quiet area, so you will have a good sleep. The prices are correct and you are 10 minutes far from Wien. There is also a castle to visit in a 15 minutes walk.
