  Hotel muy cuco

  Céntrico, a un paso del centro histórico del pueblo y cerca del río que lo atravesa, este hotel nos ha encantado. Nos tocó dormir en una suite para familia, la cual consta de dos dormitorios, muy espaciosos y con bonito diseño, y cuarto de baño bastante grande. El trato con el personal fue muy agradable, el desayuno es bastante completo y además dispone el Hotel de un parking cubierto y cerrado. En pocas palabras, un hotel para recomendar para todos los que quieran descubrir este lindo pueblo y sus alrededores.

  A surprise on the way South

  The hotel was exceedingly clean and comfortable, whilst a little spartan. But certainly value for money. But it came into its own with the standard of its cuisine. It was the reviews of the restaurant that convinced us to stay there and we were not disappointed. Fois Gras for one and scallops with deep fried onion followed by fabulous lamb chops with the local aligot. Then a great cheese board and a creme brulee finished off the evening. The service from the young waiters was impeccable - helpful and very friendly. We had a very pleasant stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

  A hidden Gem

  We arrived from Blauzac after a spectacular drive through the Cevennes national park. We had a quick stroll through town but were disappointed not to find a nice bar for aperitif. We had a family room on the top floor but the lift was our of order so it was a bit of a climb each time -let's hope they fix it soon.The room was very good with 2 singles for the kids and a double for us. We also had 2 cats with us which the hotel accepts readily. We decided to eat in because we had seen good reviews and it was a good decision! We all went for 4 course 25 menu -I had frogs legs which were really tasty and quite a big portion to start, followed by lamb chops with aligot ( mashed potatoes and cheese) and green beans.It was really good although the chops could have been cooked more for me. Then a small cheese board with 5 cheeses to help ourselves to.And to finish a top class créme brûlée. All washed down with really good house red. The service was really friendly and efficient. The hotel is in a nice quiet location, so a good night's sleep was had by all. You would think that we would not be able to face breakfast after that little lot but we rolled in a 09:30 for a self service buffet which was good although I don't rate the coffee. We parked our car in their garage because we had the bike rack on the car. Overall a really good value for money hotel - I did not award 5 blobs because of the lift and the coffee at breakfast.

  Nice clean hotel!

  On our drive from Aix-en-Provence to Clermont-Ferrand we decided to stop in Marvejols, France. This hotel was clean, personnel were friendly and helpful, and we found the town a delight. We heard and read the food was good, so we had breakfast, which was delicious! We may never be back since we live in the US, but our photos will keep our memories alive!

  Economy but luxury

  This hotel was very clean and well run. The food was simply incredible for a hotel of this price. It was like eating in a Michelin starred restaurant. I ate here most of my stay in Marvejols. Would recommend it
