  Holiday

  Well our room had bathroom plastic containing a shower, wash basin which us on your lap if you use the toilet. The cabin bathroom in Brittany Ferries is a significant improvement. WiFi wasn't working no-one had a clue how to reset it. All the pictures do not truest reflect the current state of the building, which is very tired.

  Disappointing

  This hotel was one of the more expensive hotels of our annual family France holiday. It did not represent good value for money. The rear of the hotel looked awful, like an tenement building! It needs painting badly! The room was clean but small with no air conditioning. The breakfast was extra, 12 Euros/adult. It was not worth it. The food and coffee were terrible. The location is near the port, but nice beaches are a car/bike ride away.

  Ageing hotel but all amenities functional

  This hotel has definitely seen better days - however, everything is still functional, room was clean, bathroom was relatively new. Pool is clean and enjoyable. Completely depends on what you end up paying for it - I enjoyed my stay there but there might be better options at the price.

  Restaurant only

  We ate at the restaurant and we had excellent meals. The service was very good, and the menu's very reasonably priced. The ability to mix menus without being charged extra was good news. The view across the water to the mainland from our table was spectacular.

  Good location

  We spent one night here. Room very small, bad isolation, you hear the cars etc from the street. Dinner and breakfast ok, good relation price/ quality. But very bad wine list , not one good red wine !! The rooms are quite expensive for what it is, but ok , it is Île dOleron !
