  Perfect NOLA location!

  Weve visited New Orleans 3 time and always make it a point to stay here. The location is perfect as it is central to the Frenchmen, Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. The venue is historic, clean and each room is spacious with a different feel. And the garden in the back is quiet and peaceful and great for quaint parties. The management is always gracious in letting us keep our luggage a little longer as we wait for our flight. Storyville is part of why we love New Orleans. Well always return to this NOLA gem!

  Low Rent District

  This accommodation was very outdated, too small for four people. Second bedroom very very small. Only one bathroom. Very disappointing. Location was bad, approximately 15 minute walk from French Quarters. Not sure I would feel safe walking by myself at night. Street people sleeping on the sidewalks.

  Spacious unit, convenient location

  This is an urban "resort" with all its attendant street noise (dogs barking, occasional siren, loud people), and none of the site amenities one usually associates with a resort, like a pool, but it's unusual to find timeshares in the city, particularly such spacious ones with kitchen amenities. (There was a large fridge, an oven, and a microwave, no dishwasher.) It felt more like an airbmb apartment. I think many of the units are rented out like hotel rooms. It worked out well for us. It is located on a safe, well-lit, residential street near just north of the French Quarter and next to the Treme. There is a bus a few yards from the hotel that goes to the lovely City Park and down to the Central Business District (not the French Quarter). The heart of the French Quarter is just over half a mile away., and we walked there often. Beware that if you don't have a car (and you probably don't want one in New Orleans though parking is available for guests for a small fee), there are no well-stocked grocery stores anywhere nearby (Bring your own coffee filters). We found a few breakfast type foods and snacks but not what we normally would have bought. (The Orange Store three blocks away has great subs.) We only had phone and text contact with staff and owner. You get into the unit via lock boxes. We were told we should have confirmed our reservation 48 hours ahead of time, but we've never had to do that before with a timeshare. Also, there wasn't any information in the unit itself about the hotel, the unit, nearby shops and restaurants, or anything else. We had to figure it all out by ourselves. Fortunately, we are experienced travelers, but it would have been nice to get a few hints. Overall, staying there was a good experience that allowed us to get away from the urban hubbub after a busy day.

  Does the job

  Great space for the price. The bathroom was really outdated with not much eater pressure. AC took a long time to cool the place down, you almost have to have it on 24/7. Didn't help that the temps were in the high 90's the whole time we were there. Love New Orleans, but I think I'll stay somewhere else next time.

  Perfect

  First time using Air BnB and husbands first time in NOLA. We went a few days for my birthday. This little cozy spot is PERFECT for a stay in New Orleans. Excellent price and can not beat the location. We walked to the Quarter from here everyday and night. Always felt safe and comfortable and the room was precious. We got an up grade to the King suit and it was right next door to patio. Eat at Buffas down the street and there is a little market across the street for drinks and eats. Will defiantly stay here on our next trip. Thanks Barbra!
