  Great stay and well taken care of

  We stayed 3 days midweek and were extremely happy. Hotel Vermont is a lovely property and we felt well taken care of especially during COVID-19. Burlington offered lots of outdoor activites including hiking, biking, and paddleboarding, not to mention lots of breweries and restaurants with outdoor seating. We would highly recommend as a getaway in the northeast. Be sure to check VT travel restrictions on whether you need to quarrantine or not before your visit.

  Stylish Boutique Hotel by Waterfront Park

  The hotel is designed in a very creative style throughout (from the lobby, to the common spaces, to the rooms themselves). Most importantly, it is in a fantastic location in Burlington just steps away from the waterfront park and the main Church St. shopping and restaurant area. The staff was very professional and helpful, despite the additional challenges posed by COVID-19. Sara at the front desk was super accommodating and helped us modify our reservation last minute when I had a work emergency pop up that forced us to alter our plans.

  Our Second Stay at Hotel Vermont!

  We LOVE this place, everything about it. We decided to get away for a night and new HV was were we were going to stay. They are up to date on all of the brand new cleaning precautions and have hand sanitizer throughout the property. Be sure to check Vermont's travel restrictions before you go. Check in was easy and awesome. The rooms, and especially the shower, are perfect. It's such a great place. It was an added bonus that they also have bike storage if you need it. The wonderful people at the front desk over heard us talking about what we should do with our bikes over night and they offered the storage room, which made things a whole lot easier. The bartender was awesome, they were closing up shop when we arrived after getting back from dinner but still made is out drinks. It seemed like even as we were finishing our beverages she was still serving, not sure though. Parking was inexpensive and easily accessible. Just an overall awesome location and property.

  Not the same...

  I live on the New York side of Champlain and have been staying at this hotel for a few years. I was disappointed that many of the amenities which helped to justify the high price of the room are no longer offered. COVID or not, if you reduce what you offer your guests, it should be reflected in your pricing. I expressed this to your staff the next morning who did not seem that interested. Consequently, I will be staying at the equally lovely but more reasonably priced Hilton next door.

  prime location-clean

  We live in Vt and due to covid, we wanted a getaway that was in state. We booked a whirlpool room. loved the tub, but getting in and out was a bit of a challenge. You get in from the shower, and it a process to straddle trying to get in and out. That being said, we would still book this room again! No view but thats stated on the website. Shower had the best pressure in any hotels we've stayed in! Beds are just ok. Fireplace was nice! They ask that you only ride elevators with your party (due to covid) I liked this. And we never had a long wait. Parking is self parking in the garage attached. Only thing was our card sometimes didnt work, which was inconvenient. We had to back up and run inside to get a new card. (it happened twice). The front desk said it has happened before. They store your bikes! Which was huge for us. Biking was across the street! Front desk crew were amazing! Everyone super nice and helpful! Cant wait to go back
