  Good hotel for layover

  Stayed 1 night for flight layover. Only easy 20 minutes cheap taxi from the airport. Modern, clean rooms great location with basic shops and good cheap restaurants on doorstep. Busy area but hotel very quiet for a good night sleep.

  Definitly not 5 star hotel

  The hotel does not fit the category of 5 stars absolutely. Nobody helps you with luggage and greets. The reception is on 3rd floor but the entrance of hotel on the 1st. Concierge desk located on the 1st but nobody where there during the stay. Cleaning very poor, hairs of previous guest everywhere.

  The Worst Food We Ever Had.

  I have to say the room was very clean, the hotel is easy to find and the staff was friendly at check in and check out. Good Airport shuttle and the price wasn't that bad. Disliked · The food in this hotel could be without a doubt the worst food I have ever encounter. On the first night I asked for a simple fried rice with chicken and eggs. You know....the typical delicious fried Chinese rice. What I had instead was a disgusting boiled rice, sticky, with some pieces of chicken that looked grey and a sunny side up almost raw egg on top. disgusting and obviously I did not eat it at all. The next day me and my wife we tried for a safer choice. Pizza. We told ourselves...how can someone possibly screw pizza up after being pass through the oven a 300+°C. We did not even got the chance to get it. Room Service answered with a huge attitude and when we asked for the pizzas without cheese since my wife is lactose-intolerant; the kitchen replied that I had to order it with cheese or we won't have the pizza. What??? I replied.. listen I am the client and I need 2 Margherita Pizzas with No Cheese! Long story short the manager came to my room to reveal to me that it couldn't be made as all the pizzas are frozen and bought made from outside. In which world a famous and reputable chain hotel like Howard Johnson's buy pre-made frozen pizza, having chefs, kitchen and equipment downstairs. Sadly the room service guy hardly spoke English, had an attitude and on top of this was not able to tell the truth. I was told that the GM would write us something apologetic. He did really late after 7 days, but the harm is done and the apology was irrelevantly cold and useless. Too bad Howard Johnson's in Seoul has this type of cuisine. I'll be staying somewhere else and we have an interesting video we filmed in the room with the consent of the manager on duty where she explains the frozen pizza situation. We will be publishing this very soon on the Social Media channels. Highly disappointed as the staff neither said goodbye, no sorry, as if we were never there or our business was irrelevant. DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL. THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS AROUND.

  Clean and Kind staffs

  This hotel has many kind staffs and is very clean. There are a lot of foreigners, and maintains well. Howard Johnson Incheon Airport is located near to the subway station, Woonseo, so the public transportation is very convenient.

  Not bad

  Good (at a mid-budget) option if you have a stopover at Incheon. Shuttle bus has limited hour but it's efficient. Rooms are comfortable enough for a night sleep. Wish the gym has extended hours... as a world traveler you need to fight the jetlag and a limited hours gym is so annoying. Forget about the breakfast and eat outside or the airport.
