  Shame

  Stayed for one night on 17th September 2012 - difficult to find even with Sat Nav - going around and around the road - very poorly signposted. Once we arrived we couldnt find any staff - we eventually found a man after walking around the grounds we noticed a small sign indicating this was the office - he wasnt the most friendly! We were shown to our room & were the only guests in the place apart from some lorry drivers who arrived later on that evening - our room was very tired, outdated, dusty, dead flys on the floor, bathroom smelt of urine - we were given what seemed the worse room despite being the only guests. Shower quality was good. The man - again unsure if he was the owner gave no information or helpful advice. We went to the pool area & wanted some drinks everything was closed up - we had to search the grounds to find staff to order some drinks. We were half board - despite all the negative comments our evening meal was absolutely fabulous along with the wine - one of the best meals i've eaten in Italy - totally recommend for the food - although the evening meal was excellent the breakfast was basic.

  An excellent place for a country break

  4* hotel comfort in a middle of farmers fields plus excellent restaurant cheaper than in any city! Wonderful nature around and plenty of activities to do. Check driving indications, avoid long road :)

  Separate Villa was not good

  We had reserved a separate Villa which was supposed to be 500 meters from the main buildings. The distance was quite important because the private swimming pool of the Villa was not available (there was some problems with it) and we were to use the main buildings pool. Unfortunately the distance was 2,5 km (not 500m). Villa was not very nice, neither inside or outside. WiFi was not working and everything was missing from kitchen. Beds were very uncomfortable and really noisy. There is a motorway running some 50 meters from the house, so it is not for light sleepers. Maybe the apartments in the main buildings would have been better but the Villa was one of the worst experiences we've ever had.

  Friendly reception and excellent food!

  A few kilometres out in the fields between Viterbo and Tuscania, this place is hard to find when you dont use the nearby motorway exit to drive to the hotel. Exit the Viterbo-Cittavechia motorway at the sign Tuscania and follow the signs a few kilometres into the fields. We changed from a normal room into a triple room (although we were just the two of us) and the extra cost was worth it. This room was on the ground floor, spacious and cool. The bed squeaked a bit but otherwise we were happy with the room. The bathroom is small but functional, all towels were changed every day. The shower head lights up from blue to red when you open the tap, a novelty to me! As every agriturismo here also there is a wonderful restaurant in situ, open every day, for lunch or for dinner. The service is a little amateurish at times but the quality of the food, mostly from locally produced meats and hand-made pasta, is excellent! The serve their own oil, meat, wine and many of the vegetables served are locally produced. The owners The swimming pool was open, but the weather was not good enough to make use of it. Breakfast is simple and mostly sweet, but they did have meat and cheese available. The bread, however, was old and dry. A toaster would have helped! If you want to leave early in the morning make sure you settle your bill the night before because we could not check out until 9 am, when the secretary arrived for work. It was very quiet when we were here, but in the summer season during weekend I suspect it will be quite busy, but I am sure they do everything they can to serve all as well as they can.

  Incompetenti....horrible experience!

  Personale incompetente, camera allagata dopo una doccia, soluzione? Più asciugamani da mettere a terra..chiedo di cambiare camera, dicono che è tutto pieno, controllo su booking.com e c'è disponibilità. Sapevano prima della prenotazione del problema ed hanno comunque prenotato la camera (nome camera "alessandro") Nessuno si è scusato perchè non era presente il responsabile, l'unica risposta è stata non è mia responsabilità. VERGOGNOSO per una struttura recettiva! The worst staff ever...nobody know how to fix a problems cause there wasn't the owner. After a shower the floor in my room was all wet and dangerous to walk on...the solution was to have more towels to dry it by myself. They knew the problem before my reservation but they didn't care. I asked for a new room and they said there weren't...checked on booking.com there were still one available..layer! Nobodies say me sorry cause not their responsibility! No a person to talk about my problem! DISGUSTED!
