Lunch with a western touchKids were not keen on local seafood eateries, so Boutix is the best alternative outside the park Club sandwich were nice, pasta a bit watery, fish and chips was ok Service is fine but not really fast: we did wait 30mn between order and food It was aimed at breaking away from local food and it was achieved

Not goodThe hotel itself needs improvements. They advertised to be a kids hotel however the kids area facilities are not so assorted, and there is a lot of work in progress around the area. The pool area is awfully crowded and the small pools are all way to close kids are on top of everybody...there should be a separate space for adults pool. There is nothing to do at the hotel.the only touristiqye attraction outside are the geological park which is ok and the ocean park..also ok.. Overall not a very nice place for two nights...we left a day earlier..

Don't!!I'm currently at the hotel, so can go even worse but hoping not.. What they say the services available are mostly not available. Okay the rooftop restaurant isn't necessary to spend the nice quiet night away from Taipei.. really? Hmm.. Bar isn't open as hours they say. Not the shuttle bus to the air port. Totally regretted that I will have to spend the round rides of Uber and price here for just nice hotel in Taipei and relax instead. No one at the desk speaks English to help.

Not four starsPoor service. Breakfast was cold. Hallway carpets not vacuumed. Overall the hotel is poorly maintained. After we checked in and were directed to our room, we had to wait in the hallway for 30 minutes, while they were cleaning our room. The public parking lot I was directed to by the door man, did not have any agreement with the hotel, so I had to pay for my own parking overnight. Overall it wasn't a bad experience, but it definitely was far overrated.

Holiday hotel popular with the localsThe hotel's main draw is its proximity to the Yehliu geopark. You'd really want to start at 8am on the dot, when the park opens, just as the tour buses pour in. Then walk quickly into the park, before the place gets overrun. For that purpose, the hotel is perfect. Otherwise, I don't see many reasons to stay here (we picked it as a stopover on our round-island road trip), as there's nothing much in the surrounding area. And then there are the thin walls, through which you can hear people talking at the top of their voices in the corridors and in the neighbouring rooms. The room itself was fairly clean and comfortable (the L'occitane toiletries were a plus) but the included buffet breakfast was mediocre. Expensive for what it offers for the overseas tourist, but I understand that this property appeals mainly to local families on staycays.
