  Hidden gem

  Stayed on Crete several times over the past 3 decades and I must say this place is the best,cleanest ,friendly, central, relaxing place we have stayed .if you want no fuse and a base camp and be in total control of your holiday (no A I restrictions) then you won't be disappointed here .hope this is helpful and we will be back as Arnie says.

  Simple and lovely

  This hotel has lots going for it and very few against. Firstly the position, 30 seconds from the shop, beach and restaurants, but on a sleepy side street which was nice and quiet. The hotel has a lovely little garden you can sit in but no pool. The room we were in was well fitted out on two floors. The wifi was a bit intermittent in the room but fine in the garden. Our room was at he back of her hotel so sadly the only view was of an adjacent wall. The room was regularly cleaned and felt cared for. Overall a lovely little place to stay with freedom to do what you want.

  Just arrived in Joanna!

  We have just arrived in Joanna for the first time although we've stayed in the Agia Pelagia area before in hotels on an all inclusive basis. We wanted something convenient and flexible. This set of apartments is very close to ideal. First of all, it is extremely close to the beach, stores, restaurants and also taxis but located in a side street. We've found the room scrupulously cleaned and ready. It is a really charming place. It is very nice to get away from the all inclusive ideas which also work in their own way but here you can choose where you want to go and eat. Just to say because my wife was asking me: the rooms are air conditioned and it works fine. WiFi works fine - I am logging on using it to write the review - although I have had heard it can be a bit weak sometimes. I like the accommodation layout. Our room has a small ground floor/kitchen/bathroom area and has a mezzanine for bedroom and this mean one person could be downstairs watching tv and the other upstairs taking a rest etc. The lady who is managing things is very helpful and pleasant and has just replaced the kettle without any fuss an hour or so after being notified. Overall, a very good place to come and chill.

  20 steps from the beach

  My second holidays in Agia Pelagia. I wanted to be close at the beach, shops and taverna's/cafe's. Joanna's Apts. is just perfect for that. Everyday cleaning, new sheets, towels. No need to buy toiletpaper but bring your own stuff for doing the washing-up, etc. Only handsoap but I got a big plate of fresh fruit, big bottle ofwater and bottle of wine. Efcharisto Joanna!
