Very Nice Hotel - Sad to Leave! This is a great hotel. I stayed here for 1 month while I relocated to Luxembourg from the UK and I was very happy here. My room on the ground floor was spacious, very bright and modern, it had a lovely balcony and access to its own garden. My room looked out over a very nice park that has enough trees for my room to remain private but close enough to provide lovely views and atmosphere. My room was cleaned every Friday and re-stocked with towels and toiletries. The kitchen was big. It had a dishwasher and a washing machine and was fully stocked with all the pots and pans I needed. The fridge/freezer was bigger than I expected and a welcome pack provided breakfast on the first day. There was a separate toilet and plenty of storage/hanging space. The best thing about my room was the tv. It has lots and lots of English channels which made a big difference to the speed I settled in. My room was always warm - the radiators were easy to control. I had access to my own postbox. I was grateful for the information provided in my room about wifi (which worked very well at all times), local takeaways (don't bother, all in French and difficult to place orders), maps and other useful local knowledge. This hotel is in a very nice location. The area is quiet, access to the beautiful Parc Merl (with duck pond), I could walk into the city centre in less than 10 minutes without rushing, there are lots of bus stops around the hotel, subway (as in sandwich chain), a cafe (don't expect it to be open when you need a coffee), a couple of bakeries and an amazing Italian cafe "next door" to the hotel that sells really nice food - big salads, big sandwiches/bagels, hot pizza slices, pasta and cakes. It's really good and has good wifi. The hotel is very close to a bank (BNP Parabis), it is very close to a lovely hotel if you have friends staying or you need a point of reference for a taxi driver - The Parc Belair and it's across the road from one of the nicest restaurants I have visited in Luxembourg - Bistro something... I forget the name. You will be very happy at the Parc de Merl, especially if it becomes your home for any length of time.

Good but a little watch the dates you pickWe visited this hotel apartment complex and we can say that overall the stay was good. Nice studio with good soundproof environment and near to the park with a nice porch outside. Only thing is that this complex has different rates for the weekends. And during the week they tend to raise the prices to meet their competition. We paid 90 euros for the Sunday and160 for the Monday. Unfortunately when asking for an extended stay of one day, the price if the apartment was suddenly 200 euros instead of 160 euros as we had on the invoice for a week day. As customer who wanted a longer stay of one day, I would expect at least a.price of 175 and not 200 euros. In any case,it is a decent apartment in a good location. Just watch the price when booking.

Good value for money in a nice areaI stayed at Key Inn Belair first and then relocated to the one near Parc de Merl for the second week of my stay. The room was split by a wardrobe/tv unit and was spacious and comfortable, with a mini kitchen and a nespresso coffee machine. Unfortunately, pods for the coffee machine were not provided even at the beginning (and actually that type was not available at the nearby grocery store), but that was the only thing that could be improved. Overall, a good value for money.

nice clean rooms at a great locationThere was basically one room, a living/dining space with a mattress on the floor around the corner. It was comfortable and well maintained. Only one problem we had...the window above our bed had no shade so as soon as the sun was out we had light in our eyes. The phone did not work so it was hard to report the lack of WiFi but when we did notify the staff it was remedied very quickly. Close to public transport. I would recommend!
