  Maravillosas vistas al Mekong en un nuevo resort

  Nos alojamos aquí durante 2 noches para visitar la zona y quedamos encantados. Las vistas son maravillosas. La habitación está muy bien diseñada y es amplia y cómoda. Todo está muy limpio. El desayuno estaba incluido y estaba muy bien. La comida en el hotel es casera y nos encantó, recomiendo encarecidamente comer allí si les gusta la auténtica comida tailandesa. En resumen un lugar muy recomendable al que no dudaría en volver.

  Fabulous location, nice place.

  A small resort, very friendly and rooms overlook the Mekhong river. The six rooms are fairly small but well appointed and the pillows were perfect! Nice little seating area outside each room. This would be a great place to just chill out in and enjoy the perfect location. The restaurant is nice and, of our party of four, three enjoyed a good dinner. Unfortunately, the fourth didn't get what she ordered and gave up trying to eat as the chef was insistent that he was doing her a favour by cooking something else for her. Very pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant, inside and outside seating but they seem to be stuck on playing the ame CD over and over, despite a request to change the music after we'd heard it all half a dozen times. Cooked breakfasts a little sad but muesli option is good. Overall, recommended and we aim to return some time.

  Great quiet hotel by the river

  Great hotel with beautiful views of the mekong river. The pillowtop mattress is very comfortable unlike most Thai hotels which usually feature rock hard beds. The breakfast is sumptuous and tasty with a choice of main course that comes with Chinese dough and fruits

  Beware the service charge in restaurant

  We didn't stay at the resort, we only ate at the restaurant. First the pros: great steak and soups. Had the grain fed ribeye and it was cooked exactly as ordered. Mushroom soup was also tasty. Great location on the river and you can see the whole place is well set up and well taken care of. Now the cons: This is a place set up obviously to attract farangs but they only have Singha and Chang beer? That is silly. As they are so close to Laos, they could even offer Beer Laos. Anything but disgusting local brew. Secondly, the idea of a service charge turns me off. There is something about having to pay a tip for service whether good, bad or otherwise that is simply wrong.
