  My wife and I stayed a night here and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was awesome, especially Casey who was very friendly, professional, and informative. The room was beautiful with amazing views. Cant wait to stay here again!

  Best Hotel in Winston Salem

  I cant explain how much I enjoy my stays at this hotel. When we arrive, we are met with a smile by Casey who valet our car and takes our luggage to the room. Then Juan at the front desk gets us checked in ensuring all of our desires are met and the room is all set. The staff here definitely make me want to come back every time Im home visiting family. We have stayed here before without any issue, but during this visit there was an issue with our room, but Juan addressed it quickly. Even the next day, Derek at the front desk followed up with us to make sure we were settled. Kyle, the other valet guy goes out of his way to make sure our car is parked out front so we dont have to wait long for him to retrieve it. We are a family of five with infant twins and a toddler so we run a tight ship, but the staff are always willing lend a helping hand and those valeting our car are awesome also. And lastly, upon departure Preston makes sure we are packed and good to go every time we head out. Thanks so much to the Kimpton Cardinal staff for making our stay away from home delightful every time we come to visit. By the way, I didnt mention anything about the amenities that the hotel offer, the style of rooms and the cleanliness of the overall facility... That will take another review to explain. But, nonetheless, in short, everything is 5 stars in my book. Regards, The Millers

  A iconic building reflecting the history of Winston Salem

  We just discovered the Cardinal Hotel two weeks ago on a return trip home from VA to SC. Casey met us at the door on arrival and departure. The weather was less than pleasant throughout our stay but that made no difference. We had a wonderful dinner at The Katharine. The architecture and the style of this grand old building is exceptional. Hope to return again soon.

  Valet Magic!

  We pulled in late into the Kimpton Winston-Salem after a 7 hour drive to be met with the delightful valet Casey. What a rock star! We were tired, flustered and had a ton of bags and random items. He was so cheerful, efficient and kind...and made for a stresss free start to our stay by spiriting everything to our room. Thank you Casey!

  Unique fun experience even for staycation

  I brought my kids here for a one night staycation. Its a really fun hotel. Staff was was very nice and the air staff in the Kathrerine were so kind and accommodating to my children. The room clean and comfy. We did not bring our dogs but so awesome how lets are allowed! The ONLY thing I have negative feedback on is the cleanliness of the rec room. I saw the same dirty mask on the floor and dirty drink glasses unmoved for our entire stay. The floors desperately needed to be vacuumed and mopped. However my kids loved the rec room and we spent the majority of our time there.
