  Dreadful

  We found the room unclean and had to ask the receptionist to change the sheets as they had not been changed. Totally unacceptable. AVOID this hotel. Only stay here if you aren't very fussy. Uncomfortable and tried hotel.

  The hotel is very suitable for a short stay to enjoy Rouen

  The Hotel is very well situated for a visitor to Rouen as everything a tourist might want to see is within easy walking distance. It is also nice to be able to stroll or jog along the river Seine in both directions. The only problem was that the sliding door onto the balcony got stuck and as there are several main roads in front of the hotel it was important to be able to open and shut the two doors easily to lower the noise of traffic. I would add that with both doors shut the traffic noise was minimal.

  Great location, but dreary

  This hotel is very near the centre, and it's price at the lower end of hotels in the area. I found the staff very pleasant and helpful. I opted for buffet breakfast, and thought it was pretty good, with ingredients fresh and good bread. The bed was clean and comfortable. For a hotel on a busy'ish road I thought the soundproofing worked well and the noise level low and acceptable. That's the good news. The decor was very dark, and made the place feel a bit depressing. My room felt small and cramped. I could walk around the bed, but that was it. With some cracked tiles in the bathroom, some lights not working and ripped veneer on the bathroom unit it just felt a bit tatty and unloved. Given it's price, it wasn't that bad and ok for a short stay. I would probably stay again if it was only a night or 2, though not in the summer,as no air con.

  Quite good

  This hotel is in a good location but is on a busy road and can be noisy and in the summer, it would be very hot. The breakfast is adequate and the staff are friendly. It is clean and the rooms are a decent size. They have set opening hours and so do not get there outside of these hours as the machine out the front to get your key card did not accept our foreign credit card.

  Tired hotel

  Extremely sad hotel, very tired and needs some money spent on it, bed was almost on the floor, you have to pay for the tele and you have to pay for the WiFi and you have to pay for the parking. Location however was brilliant, breakfast good and very helpful staff. Just some TLC needed on hotel
