  Magnífico emplazamiento

  Es la cuarta vez que estoy en el hotel, esta vez por dos días, y siempre he considerado que reune todas las características exigibles para considerarlo como excelente. Ubicación, restaurante, spa, amabilidad, instalaciones, carácter, en fin sin duda un hotel recomendable para los amantes de la buena vida. Incluso, resolvieron con facilidad y señorío un pequeño problema que surgió con la reserva en el restaurante, por un error suyo.

  Increíble

  Es un hotel espectacular, con una piscina climatizada de agua salada. En general es tan acogedor y tan elegante que te hace sentir un un lugar muy privilegiado. Hasta las tumbonas tienen un colchón impermeable y te sientes muy cómodo. Los tratamientos del spa son bastante buenos, y teniendo en cuento la zona el precio no se dispara. El jardín interior es muy bonito y romántico para tomar algo y aún que es un hotel bastante caro, vale la pena pagarlo porque es una instancia inolvidable.

  Truly a piece of heaven.

  We have stayed in many lhw properties and as a rule they never disappoint us. As we approached this fine property I could tell that it was located in a perfect position amongst beautiful gardens and well appointed homes. This hotel is not big. It is small and every detail has been thought of and refined. The pictures on the internet do not do it justice. It really is stunning. The gardens and outdoor salt water pool are to die for. We had to leave urgently and the hotel employees did everything in their power to assist us. I will without a doubt return for another visit. If you are thinking about staying in this hotel, please do. You will be very comfortable indeed.

  Disappointing stay/ breakfast rip-off

  I stayed with my family for 6 days , and took three rooms ( at a cost of over 3000 per day ) . Its a nice place right next to the seashore of the Mediterranean Sea with a nice swimming pool. Problem : getting to actually swim in the sea is dangerous at best as the hotel has no easy access to it. You may access from a rocky beach adjacent to the hotel, but its tricky, difficult and potentially dangerous . So here you are right next to the sea , a location of course advertised by the hotel , but basically you cant get it into it. Frustration. Their comment : its regrettable but thats the way it is. But The worst is the breakfast because it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. No buffet now ( 55 when it existed) because of Covid. Ok , so continental is available for 45 , essentially croissants , coffee and a juice. Pricy ! Everything else is extra, moreover not always clearly explained by the staff nor even indicated on the menu. The result is one 97 breakfast the first day ( 4 small slices of goat cheese, a mediocre fruit salad , a bottle of mineral water were apparently all pricy extras). When you are already paying a small fortune for 3 rooms, its just annoying . I mentioned it to the management , but to no avail, as clearly they thought they are absolutely correct in their approach. you just have to be careful about what you order . Thank you for the advice Add the fact that no food whatsoever is available between 3 pm and 6pm , and you somehow dont feel good about the whole thing. Bottom line : they wont see me again in this hotel !!

  An absolute disgrace!

  We booked a table at the Bistro of this hotel and they insisted on taking my credit card details which I gave over. After a very pleasant aperitif and charming interaction with the staff at the Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat we arrived for our reservation at the Bistro of the Hotel at 8.30pm. We were greeted by a dreadful lady who told us that the Bistro was closed on Thursdays. I was surprised as I phoned originally for a booking for 3 people and then called again to uplift the number to 5. My husband asked if they could recommend somewhere else as we wanted a casual evening. The rude plump, blonde object of terror changed her tone immediately and said you have a reservation here, you must dine with us in our restaurant whose set menu is 200 euro. My husband dressed in short trousers said this is not what we were looking for. In a rude abrasive manner she told us very clearly that if we did not dine in the restaurant my credit card would be charged at 100 euro per person for the cancellation. My husband pointed out to her that this was illegal. As I am heavily pregnant and we were hungry we ate at the restaurant. Whilst the service was attentive and pleasant , the food was mediocre and unimpressive. We had dined at Alain Ducasse on the Sunday before this experience and for the same sort of money it was of a much higher standard. My husband being a wine enthusiast asked for the correct stemware for the wines we ordered...they were clueless. They put a very bad taste in all of our mouths. I will certainly not return to this hotel They are a disgrace and the trick of booking you into the Bistro when they know it is closed and have your credit card details is a scam.
