  Okay for an overnight stay

  We stopped at Okotoks to break our journey from Banff and Waterton. We booked Lakeview Inns and Suites online after checking TripAdvisor. The hotel is uninspiring from the road - it is on a busy cross roads. It has ample car parking facilities. Check in was a good experience - the reception was clean and spacious and the staff were knowledgable and helpful. We were early but able to check in as our room was ready. Our room was spacious and clean. It had a comfortable sitting area, desk, a queen bed and and okay bathroom. The bed was soft but comfortable - it was quiet and we slept well. That was the main purpose of the stop.The room was a little dark as the windows are small and the lighting was poor. Breakfast was included in the price but was below average. It was completely DIY - paper plates, plastic cutlery and machine coffee. There was cereal, toast and some unappetising cooked food. The breakfast room had minimal decoration and was more like a works restaurant.

  Lakeview In Experience

  The first night I arrived was awful. When I was trying to relax, I hear the sound of stomping footsteps outside my room every 2 minutes. There were also children yelling outside my room and were playing with balls and hockey sticks.

  Nice and clean

  We stay on Boxing Day, the reception lady was nice and effective, the room was warm and the heater was not noisy, shower warm with plenty of shampoo and conditioner, we will stay again, we found a very good breakfast, with choice for everyone

  Always the best

  We travel here a lot for work, and this hotel has always gone over and above to make for a great stay. The safe is amazing, rooms are always clean, spacious, and comfortable. Thank you Lakeview for always taking such get care of us

  Incredible value

  Not only was this the least expensive hotel on our trip, it was also the best. It has all the regular trimmings a hotel often gives (wifi, breakfast, free parking, etc.) The service was great and our hostess was very friendly and helpful. 2 playgrounds near by and some good restaurants right beside. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
