  Do not stay here!

  A very tired and dirty hotel, where patches of damp adorn ceilings and mildew surrounds the bath, with the added attraction of a filthy shower curtain. The only good thing is the excellent wifi. Both husband and myself have been ill from food and goodness knows what is coming from the creaking air con system. Gym is forlorn, only open half of the time and with broken air con. Swimming pool area is equally sad and the seafood restaurant permanently closed. Sadly stuck here for work for another four days, but will not be eating again in the hotel. An air of no-one cares enough to spend any money on it, though the staff are friendly and do their best. Haven't met any management -yet!

  Not our first choice

  We were put in the hotel as I believe our usual one was fully booked. The guy I am traveling with stayed here three years previously. Sadly its become quite run down. My room is fine but the bathroom looks like it needs updating/ repaired. On a plus side the pool looks good and it has a decent free gym. Also the staff are great.

  Old hotel with poor maintenance

  Maybe this hotel has been very successful in the past, given its location on the beach and the area it occupies. But this hotel to be so depressing because of poor maintenance. The only interesting thing about this hotel is its easy access to the culinary center of Balikpapan City.

  Never again

  Hotel is very dirty because of no maintenance Dirty shower with little animals Fungi everywhere (ceiling,bad,wall) Carpet amazingly dirty Sigaret burning holes in blanket Massage who dear to ask extra money above the fee and tip Beach bar doesn't exist anymore so no beach facilities Swimming dangerous because of bad maintenance The pictures on there website and booking sites are old or manipulated it's totally not what you get. Must say, after we want to go out of the hotel to another hotel, we got a upgrade which was better but not how a 4star hotel should be. We except it but it should not be like that. My advice don't book this hotel!!!!!!

  LOVE THE NASTY MOLD COVERED CEILINGS

  the hotel is well well well past its prime. severely neglected and ceilings rotting away and cover with white tarps to hide the mold. pretty disgusting to say the least. the stupidity of horrid maintenance is mind boggling but sadly this is indonesia and normally how things are done. any health department innany civilized country would cloes them down in an instant. mold is a known health hazzard and unless they fix it then i recommend finding another place to stay but as a forewarning you really need to see the interior of a place and check all reviews BEFORE BOOKING !!
