  Self contained unit with amazing views

  This isn't what we expected from the ad..it is better! This is actually a self contained unit attached to the owners house. It is well positioned over Penneshaw and has amazing sea views, We were lucky to be there when a cruise ship was in the bay. It has all the facilities including own parking,queen bed, large ensuite including linen. Cooker, fridge,Tea and coffee making facilities, DVDS and player,stereo, ironing board etc. It is very well looked after, clean and tastefully decorated. You have your own entrance and table and chairs out on the shared balcony where you can have your morning coffee watching the view or alternatively there is a seating area in the garden where you can use the bbq. We went with the breakfast option ,and when we arrived the fridge was stocked with everything we needed (eg Eggs,bacon, cereal, juice etc) The owners are very friendly and helpful people and are more than happy to give you any info you may need about the island and where to go etc. (For anyone who may be worried that the owners are onsite, then don't. We met the owner on arrival and then he was scarce until we needed something...) There is a winery just up the road and the Hotel and Gourmet pizza place does delicious food. The best thing for us is the accomodation was only 5 mins drive to the ferry, which was great for us because we were on a very early morning one back to mainland. However I would advise contacting the owner regarding address/ location, or anything else you want to clarify because some parts of the ad aren't quite right. Absolutely loved Kangaroo Island, a very beautiful place with stunning beaches and views. Will definately visit again :)

  First B & B Experiance

  This was our first b and b experience and what a pleasant surprise, the accommodation was excellent, it is actually a self contain unit, clean, modern and everything that you would require is in the rooms, every thing the same or better then Hotel or Motel. Malcolm the owner gives very friendly and personal service, and is a font of knowledge about the Island and its attractions and how to get to them safely as the Island is abound with wild animals, and a wonderful conversationalist. Highly recommend this.

  Good location for ferry

  B + B but no breakfast provided. Small one bedroom apartment with a very noisy fridge. Not enough towels for two people. Great view, privacy. You need to request a map to the property as the road from cemetery is not clearly marked.

  Tranquil with Great Views

  Welcoming and friendly owners. The accommodation was absolutely spotless. Everything and more than you would require in a holiday kitchen. The unit was self contained, with easy parking and in a convenient location. We used it as a base to explore Emu Bay, Stokes Bay and Cape Willoughby. Just missed the last cruise ship that visited during the cruise season. A real getaway! We would definitely stay here again!
