  Great Location, Showing it's age

  The people at the hotel were kind and helpful, but luckily we were with a German speaker. The hotel was very clear and the room spacious, however the rooms are showing their age. Despite the 70's decor, the hotel is a good value in a great little town.

  Good hotel to discover Black Forest

  It's located in the middle of a beatiful area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast consists in a small buffet. The staff are friendly and kind. There is a fantástico índole pol with a nice jacuzzy. The only problem is Internet connex, wich is so low at rooms and in common áreas as well. You ' d have to pay for use it.

  Lovely Village - Bit Pricey

  When we checked into the hotel the guy behind the counter didn't seem to speak any english, luckily I speak a bit of German so we managed ok. The room was nice and we ate in the restaurant (steak was lovely) and we had breakfast in there each morning. I had thought that breakfast was included, it wasn't (it was my mistake it turned out), but it was funny how his English became a lot better when he was getting me to understand I was paying more than I thought. That made his attitude when we checked in unnecessary. I aren't one of those English people who expects everyone to speak English but he was happy to see me struggle until it was about money. Skiing village which off season is cute with nice cafes, greta location.

  Ok kind of place

  Ok for a night but that's all...rooms all ok fresh towels but not great. Owners friendly. Food pretty mediocre. Wouldn't go back plenty more places in area that must be better value for money. Let's leave it at that.

  Avoid...

  We stayed at this place as included in a package on our hike... it was horrible. It is completely outdated and dirty. The swimming facility is also dirty... the breakfast was just bad. Sweating cheese. No fruit for yoghurt. No refill of finisched plates... etc. The staff is very helpfull amd friendly but the place needs a complete makeover...
