You get what you pay for.

My husband & I paid £40 a night to stay here & yes it's not the most modern hotel in the world & yes maybe it doesn't have the fanciest gym or fanciest pool but it's clean, it has wifi, it's food & drink is super cheap & a really decent quality, but the most important thing is it's set on the banks of one of the most beautiful lakes in Europe, the view from our room was STUNNING & worth far more than £40 a night!! Another major attraction is the fact that it's pretty unspoilt, it's still very Hungarian as it's the place in Hungary where Hungarians go on holiday (it's also very popular with Germans & Russians) so it helps if you have a few words of Hungarian to get you by. It's not a hotel that's trying to be something it's not, so as long as you don't go there expecting a hugely fancy hotel you'll be fine. We'd definitely go again & for what it is I'd give it 8/10.

    Fantastic Hotel

We got married here August 22nd 2015 and stayed here along with our 120 guests. The hotel itself was lovely, we had a huge double suite with a living room and kitchen, it was immaculate, very comfortable, well furnished, bright and well decorated, I also visited a number of the other guests rooms all of which were of the same quality, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the Manager especially so, she really made us feel welcome and helped in any way that she could, as a result we had a perfect wedding in beautiful surroundings and the hotel played a major part in this. The hotel is situated right by the lake and within walking distance to the city centre, itt is perfect for children as well as adults as they cater for children and have an excellent indoor swimming pool and kids pool if you don't want to swim in the Balaton, the breakfast was good and plentiful, however don't expect a full english, the food is very typically Hungarian, but very nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Siofok and should I return, I would not consider staying anywhere else

    This hotel needs an update.

The good: Close to the lake. The bad: room without air condition, no safe in the room, old bathroom. The hotel did not have neither ATM nor possibilty to pay with credit card. The breakfast and dinner was OK'ish. The room was clean, and I got New towels every day. I Guess there was free wifi in the room, but it was very slow. The logistic solution to travel between Budapest and Siofok is a Challenge, thank's to friends we got a taxi one way and we travelled in a privat car back again. I will not stay at this hotel before they have upgraded their facilites.

The friendliest ever approach to their customers. I so much love this hotel. Stay here when you are in Siofok and consider yourself to be a real human beeing. Snobs stay away from here. All humans all equals but some humans all more equal than others and those are the ones that can appreciate friendship above everything else.

    Holiday

Close to the lake. Room is good, new bathroom, but no airco. WiFi was very good Staff was friendly and helpfull. It is very bad that the bar is closer at 22.00 H. I hope that that will change in the future.
