  Not going back

  The only good thing about this hotel is the cleanness of the room. The shower is completely useless as it has no to very little water (which is super cold). Once you flush the toilet, it takes ages for it to fill up again. The breakfast was more of an insult--a bland scrambled egg with a tiny cup of juice. The hotel is right next to a kindergarten so expect loud noises through out the day. Also, If you don't have a car, its going to be a drag getting a taxi from and to the hotel. The female receptionist was neither welcoming nor informative about the shower situation both times i was there. The place has potential. I don't know why managment failed to do something about it.

  this is not Hotel

  I have stayed at the Addis View hotel for over 2 days. It is a hotel with old fashioned furnishings, dark rooms and poor service. I do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. I spent 1 night without power, getting cold showers. At checked in I reminded them again that I have an infant and needed a crib for him to sleep in. After 1 hour of waiting, I went to the lobby to check on the crib. It was approaching bedtime for a 1 year old. They said it would be up in 10 minutes, after another hour, still no crib. My phone was out of order in my room, so I had to walk down stairs each time. I went down to the front desk a total of 4 times asking for the crib. Last time, I took my crying son down so they could hear him. I stood in the lobby for 40 minutes as they told me the crib was coming. Seriously, WORST service. I would not recommend this hotel.

  Delicious meal in a fancy restaurant

  I like the way they served our delicious dinner for my family. We did enjoyed the spa earlier and great hospitality. We also visited the big ballroom with a nice view of the city high from the fourth floor.

  It needs followup from MGT department

  I was in this hotel in May,2017 with my girl friend for two nights. The hotel has a very good standard but staff need training & proper dressing code. I saw the recepetion boy who wore a jeans. They need some scale up customer service training.

  Does the job if you need a cheap, passable hotel.

  Manrashiwa Hotel is not a bad place to crash for a night or so; however, it's definitely not within walking distance of anything worthwhile and about 15 minutes by car from the action. The restaurant offers a wide selection of affordable beers and the 24 hour restaurant offers very delicious local fare but give a wide berth to the "Western" cuisine. The staff is friendly although fluent English is hit and miss. The breakfast buffet will fill you up but isn't memorable. The rooms are decent but the bathrooms could use a facelift and the hot water heaters for the shower don't work well. They do offer free airport transfer which is a perk, but you feel quite isolated at this location.
