  Buena Estadia en Koh Samui

  Estuve 3 dias en Koh Samui alojado en el Maryoo. El hotel es nuevo, las habitaciones e instalaciones en general están de estreno, en excelente estado. Las habitaciones son muy amplias, casi suites con un excelente baño con ducha. El servicio es muy básico... a pesar de que el hotel estaba practicamente vacío, omitieron asear nuestro cuarto con la excusa de que no habíamos colgado el cartel solicitandolo!! jaaaa. El hotel cuenta con una shuttle al centro de chaweng que parte "puntualmente" cuando al chofer se le ocurre dejar de jugar al solitario y decide partir. Por otro lado el transporte gratutito al aeropuerto fue puntual. De todos modos, se puede acceder en Tuk Tuk en minutos y por unos 100baths al centro de Chaweng o bien alquilar scooter por la estadia. Esta fue nuestra opción y me parece lo más recomendable. El punto negativo es que para alquiler la moto debes dejar si o si tu pasaporte como garantia. En definitva el Maryoo a pesar de sus puntos bajos (todos corregibles) y que no esta cerca de ninguna playa en particular, ofrece una buena opción para hospedarse en Koh Samui, gracias a sus buenas habitaciones, excelente pileta y aceptable desayuno.

  Rundown hotel, don't get fooled by the nice pictures on the booking sites.

  Booked this hotel on the Agoda website for our holiday in July 2019. I was extremely disappointed when I arrived at the hotel. It was the same hotel as in the pictures on Agoda. But the pictures are taken a few years ago or they are computer animated. In reality the hotel was in a poor state of maintenance, the pool was hazy and the hotel was almost empty, Also the location is not very convenient, no shops or beaches close by.. Don't get fooled by the nice pictures and low price on Agoda. They don't show many recent reviews and my own review wasn't published. That way they get a fake (in my eyes) high score and people keep booking. The same day I booked another hotel. Btw also the pictures on tripadvisor are not the way the hotel looks at this moment !!

  Wonderful service!

  My husband and I stayed at Maryoo Samui Hotel for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff spoke English, was kind, thoughtful and very helpful. Every time we needed to go somewhere, they helped us to order taxis and would even recommend places to go and where to eat. We also ordered room service and ate in the restaurant several times. The head chef is an incredible cook. Everything was delicious every time. My husband needed to work while he was here and remarked on how fast the internet speed was. We highly recommend staying here!

  Coming Back!!

  Maryoo was recommended by friends, we were told it wasn't the newest place in Koh nor is it by far the worst. We were very happy and comfortable with Maryoo and the staff. Well organised and great value for the price. You cannot compare this place to other hotels we have stayed at in Koh, the people are amazing and will do anything for you. The meals are generous and cooked by one of the best chefs on the island! We are looking forward to coming back again this year. Rooms are a good size with kitchenette and cleaned daily,beds are big and comfy, pool is a good size. The hotel is about 3 kl ms from Chaweng beach center and easy to get to.

  Beautiful

  Staff are absolutely outstanding they are a credit to this hotel, the rooms are a bit tired but are clean and large the hotel is really nice and quiet and if I was to go back to Thailand I would stay here again the food in this hotel is amazing I would certainly recommend this hotel thank you all for a wonderful stay.
