  Great, functional hotel in a great location

  Great hotel in a stunning position directly on the lake. Hidden below the main road through Piediluco, the hotel doesn't give an impressive first impression but this is soon forgotten thanks to the warmth of the staff, quality of the rooms and view across the lake. We visited in off season so we didn't try the pool, nor hired a boat from the adjacent bar, but I can imagine this would be wonderful in the height of summer. The rooms had air-con and electric shutters on both the balcony door and window (great for security and a good night's sleep). Breakfast was good, with the usual selection of Italian sweet things (cakes, crostate, and cornetti), alongside cereals, yogurts and a few meats and cheese. The town itself is pretty and pleasant for a walk, but other than a church and a few restaurants, there isn't much to do. However, it's in a great location and is a good base from which to explore the area. We can highly recommend the hotel and hope to be back.

  What a beautiful view!

  Hotel Miralago is in a beautiful spot. The view of the lake from the room was fascinating. It is located in the center of the Piediluco where you can easily take nice walks along the lake shore. It has a good size pool and a small sandy beach area for sun bathing. The room was air-conditioned, clean and came with a small balcony that overlooked the beautiful lake. I could've stayed there for a week.

  Way of St. Francis: good enough

  The Hotel Miralago is found at the far end of Piediluco as you walk into town from Arrone. It is not an inspiring sight and it is an inspiring site. The hotel hugs the lake and looks like a parking garage from the road. Check in was complicated because our first room had a view you could see if you stuck your head out the window, the second room for an extra 5 had software problems that turned off the air conditioner and the TV on. After 60 minutes of back and forth they gave us a new room. The bed (2 singles pushed together) and extra cot, that we could not get moved out of the room, left you very little other space. These were the negatives. The positives are that the staff were trying very hard and did not get flustered. They were very helpful through our stay and helped us. And the hotel itself, though modern and somewhat ugly has such a beautiful view that you forget about the building. Lastly they have a wonderful breakfast included with the room fee. The people at Hotel Miralago overcome its shortcomings. Inspire of it all I would recommend it to other pilgrims and trekkers.

  Great views

  This hotel location on the lake is something very special. The rooms are spacious and cater for everything. The staff was friendly and very helpfull and made a special effort to accommodate our early arrival. Breakfast was good. Wifi we Worked well

  Nice welcome

  The Hotel is situated right on Lake Piediluco and is very modern in appearance. Here we were warmly greeted by the manager, who quickly checked us in. Our room was on the first floor with views of the pool and glimpses of the lake. The room was a good size, with plenty of room for luggage. There was a queen sized bed (firm but comfortable), a small bar fridge, safe, flat screen TV and the room is air conditioned. The Bathroom is small, has a bidet and shower (good pressure and heat but didnt drain properly). Breakfast was included and was average at best.
