    Muy bueno

    Habitaciones muy grandes y muy bien equipadas. El diseño es muy agradable. La única observación es que la aislación acústica no es buena y se escucha las conversaciones de los vecinos y el personal de limpieza.

    bien ubicado y bueno

    la ubicación esta bien para poder ir andando al centro. Esta como a 4 manzanas, pero esta bien. Por otro lado, la habitación esta genial. Muy amplia, cómoda y la parte de cocina muy bien preparada. Muy recomendable. Importante tener parking porque alli es zona de aparcamiento regulado.

    Auqnue no está mal, esperaba bastante más

    Recién llegados a nuestra luna de miel, este es el primer hotel que teníamos reservado en Calgary. Hotel mediano, sin pretensiónes, simple... Ofrece servicio de parking (de pago) pero el mismo está a unos 200m de distancia en otro edificio. La habitación si que tengo que reconocer que era bastante grande, sin embargo, pese al tamaño de la habitación, el baño era muy pequeño. El desayuno suficiente pero también tal vez eché en falta algo más de variedad. En resumen, está bien, pero desde luego no es igual que en las fotos que enseña. La relación calidad-precio para mi, un poco baja

    Overpriced/need professional staff

    The location is perfect. And we had an upgrade room with balcony with small kitchen. The room was very dirty, you can't walk in the room whitout your chooses. The balcony, we couldn't enjoy because it was not clean at all, the chairs was disgusting. the front office person/owner told us to not steal the towels and sheets, what was inappropriate to say to a client. Noises from other rooms until late at night OVERPRICED FOR WHAT IT IS : HOSTEL or B&B and should have professional for front and housekeeping staff !!!

    Worst hotel ever! Dont stay there

    We had initially booked this room through Expedia, as the photos looked nice and they offered breakfast. We had arrived late, after a long drive. Upon check-in I had given my credit card for the $150.00 damage deposit and I enquired about breakfast in the morning, and was told by the owner that there is no breakfast and to please understand. I had mentioned that his ad had breakfast included, to which this seemed to annoy him and he just repeated to please understand . Other hotels Ive stayed at during Covid that advertise breakfast, have supplied bagged grab and go breakfast. Anyway not a big deal and not worth getting my knickers in a knot, especially given the late hour. So we took our key and went to our room. My wife was tired and went directly to bed. I decided to have a shower. I was dubious of going bare foot, as the bathroom lights started to reveal some of the dirt and grime that would become more apparent as time in this room went on. It was during my shower I noticed a small nest of hair sitting in the filthy drain, just to add to the horrible state of this bathroom. I was ready to leave but my wife was now soundly asleep. I elected to sleep in the other bed in the room. It was the light of morning which revealed what the darkness of night hid. The whole room was disgusting! In a nutshell just not cleaned properly, let alone to any Covid standards. Almost all surfaces had some sort of food or drink stains, crumbs, hair, no Covid hotels protocols followed, but the final straw for me was not just the gross I cant imagine what it is, stain on my duvet cover, but the wrapped condom I found between the sheet and duvet. Ive been married a long time and havent used condoms in over 20 years, nor do I carry a condom to try get a deal on hotels. At this point we were both done. We live in a small community and have people that are immune compromised close to us. One of the reasons we chose to stay at NUVO hotel was due to their assertions in their Expedia ad, that they clean and sterilize the rooms to full Covid standards, this was clearly not the case. We went down to see the front desk, as the phone in the room wouldnt work and were met with the same owner and his wife that checked us in during the night. We had told them about the state of the room and what we had found. They immediately became aggressive and accused us of lying and said we did this to the room ourselves. It is this time we started to film the encounter as he was also getting aggressive with my wife as he felt he was being disrespected by a female. He refused to refund any money and said he is keeping our damage deposit and his wife threatened to charge and additional $500.00 to our credit card. We then returned to our room to pack our stuff, change and leave. It was during this time there was a knock on the door. I opened it to the owner trying to aggressively push his way into the room. I had stood in the way to prevent him as my wife was still changing, and this is when he got more physical with me actually trying to forcibly push me out of the way of the door saying this is his hotel and he can enter. As hes a smaller Asian man and Im a slightly larger half Asian man he was unable to push his way into the room. During this time we had first been trying to resolve this with Expedia. Expedia had tried repeatedly to phone the hotel to resolve the issue but the owner refused to pick up the phone. I even went to the front desk when they were calling and told him Expedia would like to talk to him, but he refused to pick up saying Answer the same! We were also calling Visa to keep them updated with the situation as it unfolded as well as we had contacted the non-emergency phone line to the Calgary Police to notify them of the owner trying to forcefully push his way into the room. it is not correct to treat customers in such aggressive way that has not only caused stress to ourselves, wasted time out of our day, but could have potentially exposed ourselves and others to Covid due to their lackadaisical approach to hygiene and refusal to acknowledge customer feed back. We have notified Better Business Bureau, to which they called us and said we are likely not ever hear from these people as they never respond to rectify a situation which is why they have a BBB rating of -D. Our mistake in this is we did t read the reviews before we booked. One doesnt have to search far to see that while there are some good reviews, all the many bad reviews say the same thing. Filthy, and aggressive owners who dont acknowledge any problems with their hotel. I have way more disgusting photos... hair and shavings all over drawers .. I am limited to ten photos on here ..
