  My wife and I stayed overnight. This place is a dump. King suite was tiny with a couch that should be on the side of the road somewhere. We used the Murphy bed because the king bed was like a brick. Needs a serious upgrade. Our floor had sections of rooms blocked off, looks like an active construction project, only more like the project is shuttered. Kind of weird vibe, certainly far from a resort vibe. Not is single amenity, bar, restaurant, or even a stupid coffee was available on the property. Asked two different people at the desk and both said Nothing is open in the off season. They were extremely nice, but they mean nothing! Basically a low grade motel 6 with a great view. Thankfully there are several places in walking distance, but this place was dead and I can see why. Ive stayed at a dozen resorts in the oceanfront area, and this is by far the worst value Ive experienced. Place flat sucks.

  Quick Getaway After Quarantine

  We stayed here last year for a quick getaway and really liked the location. Convenient to several restaurants and ice cream shoppes. The people next door with an adjoining room smoked the whole time and nothing was done after we complained three times. Cigarette smoke poured into our room when their AC ran. The room was not very clean. Due to CV-19 they did not do a daily service to the room, which was fine. We were just not told about this at check-in, OR after speaking to three additional staff members after coming back from the beach the first day to no clean towels. It should have been communicated at check in or when I made the reservation. This hotel has lots of nice amenities, it just needs updated and a better job at cleaning the place. Will try somewhere new next year.

  Great Mom & Daughter Weekend

  Had a great experience at this hotel over the past weekend. Decided at last minute to plan a mom/daughter retreat weekend with my daughters. along with my best friend and her two daughters. We had a really nice experience here. The one thing that stands out to me is the superior customer service. Everyone I came in contact with from front desk to janitorial services were amazingly kind and helpful. When you check in, your greeted in a very nice front desk. The lobby is very open and its easy to pull up and unload there. They give you a plastic wrist bracelet to wear while there just to let staff know that you belong there and to prevent people from just walking up off the beach to use the facilities there.. Its very family oriented & there is plenty for children/teenagers to do. Parking is ample as it is either in front of the hotel to the side, or across the street which is easily accessible. We stayed in the ocean front suite because there were six of us. There were two double beds and a wall bed. We had plenty of space to sleep & the beds were comfortable.There were two TVs in the room, refrigerator, kitchen sink, microwave, coffee maker, and cabinets full of cups, saucers and cutlery. The bathroom had a vanity with sink and adjacent to that is the toilet & shower. The shower had nice pressure and was big enough to comfortably take a shower in. The room was clean and well stocked. We had a private balcony with a great view. Of course we were on the 11th floor and could see everything. The only caveat here at this hotel is that if you open the balcony door to hear the ocean, the air conditioning will automatically cut off until you close the door again. So if you want to listen to the beach waves, then you may have to be hot in the room. The room is a little narrow, and doesnt have a very open floor plan which I wouldve preferred. However, it was ample for all of us. There is a lazy river and a pool outside, along with a Jacuzzi. When you come off the beach, there is a place to shower and wash your feet before getting into the pool. They also provide pool towels as well, you just need to ask. Also there is a very nice indoor pool and Jacuzzi, and sauna as well. There is a great shower in the indoor pool room so you can rinse off the sweat and salt and get into the indoor pool and just completely relax. The laundry facilities are ample and you are able to purchase small boxes of laundry detergent/laundry sheets and I believe its about $1.00 -$1.50 to wash / dry a load of clothing. The on-site restaurant/tiki bar is a nice place to eat and we enjoyed the food there. Not a huge menu to choose from but what was on there was just fine for all of us. It was nice to be able to walk from the pool and be seated in the restaurant for dinner. There is also a fitness room and arcade on the inside of the hotel as well. The great thing too for all of us was that when we parked our vehicle upon arrival we didnt move it until we left. We walked everywhere we went and we were able to be relatively close to the hotel. I know there are many resorts in north myrtle and south Myrtle Beach to choose from and this probably is a little bit of an older resort. However, they have done a fantastic job keeping it clean and maintained and the staff here is top notch. This was the first time we ever visited this hotel, as we usually go to Carolina beach. We chose this place on a whim and Im so glad that we did. We will most definitely be back!

  May sound good but be aware

  I come here in hopes of working out some sort of reconciliation; however, that is up to the hotel. I booked my vacation for this upcoming July 17-20th using Expedia. Moments later I received an email saying my vacation was cancelled and I was unsure what happened. I called Expedia around 2 in the morning and of course no one was at the hotel in order to process the request Expedia needed. I waited till morning and called back. The rep from Expedia spoke to someone at the front desk who hung up on her more than once. Additionally, the hotel would not provide a refund as they said the room was nonrefundable (I didn't cancel it). I was hoping they could work out a way of adding me back in (if I did cancel then why would I be trying to rebook same hotel and same features?). Moving from there, I was finally able to get a GM to agree that we could rebook and not have to pay anything more (what was paid would be transferred over). AMEN, but wait, that's not what happened. When we called back someone else said this was not authorized and so far they are unable to accommodate us. Ive tried getting expedia to call several times but they have had the front desk be very belligerent and hang up on them. Whoever authorized the rebook also was very rude when the rep inquired about the reduced rates. At this point, weve had 2 of our guests back out because of how the customer service has been. I really want to have this vacation, but I am unable to get the hotel to work something out. I dont see how my reservation can be cancelled (without my permission) and nonrefundable. I sure hope someone, respectable, will contact me in regards to this booking. I will update as I receive any updates.

  Nice Motel on the Beach

  My daughter & I recently stayed here for a short getaway vacation & it was a very pleasant experience. Motel is right on the beach & we had a great ocean view room. Room was clean,quiet & yhe staff was very friendly & helpful. Price was right as well. Great location- within walking distance to stores, restaurants. We will stay here again when we come back.
