  Excellent place to relax

  Enjoyed 5 nights stay here. Plenty to do - fishing, sailing, walking etc. pool is amazing and so are sunsets. All staff were very friendly throughout stay. Rooms kept clean and the food was brilliant. Would highly recommend coming here for a holiday if you want to relax and do as little as possible and be looked after with great food and beverage selection. Thank you team Orpheus.

  BOOK IT!

  If you are thinking about staying at Orpheus do not waste any more time and BOOK IT NOW , I guarantee you will not regret it . I have stayed all over the world in five star resorts and Orpheus is up there with the best in the world Bora Bora, Mexico, Amalfi Coast, Thailand, Indonesia etc. Bravo to everyone involved with the running of Orpheus the operations are casual but incredibly through, seamless and detailed. It's not if but when we will return. I'm not going to give you every magical detail of our stay I'd rather you discover the treasures of Orpheus for yourself. Instead some Protips! -Do dining by the Tides! Amazing and the head chef is incredible -Let the Staff (Paul) pick the wine for you! Wow just Wow -Chat with the staff they are all brilliant -Stay as long as you can BOOK IT.. Who knows I might see you there!

  Wow wow wow !!! Owners take note that there is nothing to improve!

  I spent 5 nights here with a good friend of mine. We were delayed one night by a cyclone and the arrangements made for us in Townsville (including extending our stay by one night on Orpheus) were seamless. I can not praise the team, including the reservations team enough - so personal, so in love with the island, so enthusiastic about their role in the guest experience. There is no way our experience would have been six star without them. This is the KEY to the islands success, return guests and word of mouth referrals. They should be commended. The snorkelling (and the team telling us the history of the islands) was really good considering the cyclone in the 48 hours prior. Do dining with the tides - a fabulous, fabulous experience but I wont ruin it for you by giving details! The dingy is fun, take a picnic and listen to the tips from the team about best location for that day. The spa was out of this world - I did one of the signature treatments and that was hours of relaxation! I could go on and on. Already 2 of my friends have booked for later this year. One thing for the owner / the family of owner to note - its disappointing to hear staff being criticised when they are the core of your resort experience and were, quite frankly fantastic, including supervising the familys children during our snorkelling trip (which for many of the guests was disruptive and we were left wondering why it was the staffs role not the parents). The open criticism occurred on at least two occasions (observed by my friend and I) and other guests who we dined with had similar stories for that week. Take it from the reviews - your team are your BIGGEST asset, do your best to keep them as long as possible and perhaps if there are any areas of concern, raise them in private not when guests are present.

  Orpheus Island Group Holiday

  Just returned from 4 days at Orpheus with a group of 20 or so friends. The resort, the food and beverages, the daily activities and of course the staff were first class. Ross and Jen have a great customer first approach and their staff follow their lead. Cannot speak highly enough of the whole experience, just go! ps; Ensure you go to Hinchinbrook Island and snorkeling out on the the reef

  Absolutely Amazing

  Recently spent 4 nights on Orpheus Island. The food was incredible, the staff were friendly and professional. The Island itself is something to be seen to be believed. We will be returning there again without a doubt.
