  Ramshackle place

  Stopped off on a motorbike tour of Norway. The place is ok if like most bikers your expectations aren't high. It's a strange place in the middle of nowhere and called a resort? There's a few ponies about a few places for camping/motorhomes and the motel type rooms for the other travellers. The room was clean and quite modern but not worthy of nearly £100 a night fee! The bed was ok but shower changed temperature and pressure without warning. Food was a buffet of roast chicken legs with pork and some greasy potatoes and salad. The host was seemed uninterested and only spoke when I paid the bill to leave eventually asking where we were from etc. Wouldn't use it again.

  Clean and friendly, very silent

  When we arrived i thought we are in an construction area with home containers for contractor, but it was our Hotel. The restaurant is reception, breakfast and dinning room, entertainment hall in the evening and bar at once. We came in late, but although the restaurant was closed the very friendly stuff offered some quick dinner and a beer. That was great!! We went to our room and it was friendly, clean, cozy and not small at all. Bathroom like in a ferry, but clean and functional. Bed comfy. TV work 3 channels and none of them clear. They of bikes to hire, have a big playground for kids with water and it is almost silent at night. Breakfast was ok. Not a business hotel I would recommend for that purpose, but i think this not the purposes of this hitel anyway. It is more a hiking hub to start off into the woods

  Excellent experience, lots of activities

  Very family friendly resort with lots of activities in beautiful, relaxing surroundings. The Waterway, a miniature river where you can float your own "timber", is a great experience for kids of all ages, and definately a worthwhile experience. Beach, trampoline on the water, pirate ship, bikes, climbing, cycling boat etc are other examples. Clean and good matresses. Pan garden is a good location on your way between southern and Western Norway. Thanks for an excellent stay!

  Beautiful surroundings

  Located in beautiful surroundings and with a great host this hotel is perfect for stress relief. Dont expect the most modern hotel but a small cosy place with great Norwegian national dishes. Would for sure recommend this place to other

  Fait though, but...

  Visited with a few friends for 2 nights. Friendly reception and clean room. Very quiet surroundings, but quite a bit of internal noise from corridor etc. Served same dinner both evenings... Cracked wash basin in room, no housekeeping. Room only equipped with bare minimum.
