  A wonderful Apartments

  We are currently spending our last day on the beautiful island of Santorini, at the amazing Polydekis Apartments, based in Kamari. Our Apartment is at the front over looking the small street, which has been perfect, the rooms are very clean with modern facilities. The maids have been in every day and do a great job. All the staff have been very friendly, first class in our opinion. Breakfast is as always fresh, and varied and served with a smile. A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Makis who has inhanced our stay from the conversation on the first night at the pool bar to the fantastic, amazing island tour where proper unforgettable memories have been made. There has been no issues with covid 19 at Poldefkis Apartments, there is hand sanitisers doted all over the complex. The only times we have had to wear a face mask is when we went into shops and on the transfer from the airport. Both myself and my wife would just like to say a big THANK YOU!! To all the staff at Poldefkis Apartments for such a brilliant holiday.

  Perfect Stay August 2020

  Polydefkis review I booked a room direct with the hotel at short notice and communications were were very swift and helpful. I stayed 8 nights and a further 6 a week later after returning from Naxos and Paros. I had the same room each time which was perfect for me. A double room as a solo traveller was offered at good value and the room is exceptionally clean and modern, cleaning was offered each day. Lots of extra measures taken for hygiene due the Covid. Many amenities provided in the room including local produced toiletries & hand gels. Hairdryer and kettle & coffee machine plus fridge. Spacious bathroom with a good shower and plenty of furniture in the room to hang clothes and store everything comfortably. Beautiful terrace from my patio doors with both sun and shade all of the day. Little drying rack outside for beach clothes and towels. Air con and WiFi worked well. Little plunge pool outside as well as larger pool with very comfortable sun loungers and pool side bar. Breakfast was included in the rate and plenty of choice offered. The person serving the breakfast from behind Perspex screen worked very hard to serve everyone their choice from what would usually be a self serve buffet. Tables cleaned promptly after each guest. Wide selection of hot and cold breakfast choices. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating and hard working in the new protocol for hygiene. The location is fabulous. Right outside is a supermarket on a small side street with a couple of lively bars, rental for scooter and quads on the corner and a few meters to the wonderful beach front and promenade. Bus stop is also very close by for Fira and from Fira you can take the bus all over the island. The complex is smallish and quiet and beautifully appointed despite its close proximity to lively atmosphere outside. Lots of beautiful plants and flowers and Greek artefacts around the complex. A short walk also to the main square in Kamari which has a plethora of inexpensive eating places compared to the sea front, but even along the seafront the price to quality ratio is generally good and fair. I arranged a transfer from the airport, via the hotel, its only a short distance away but arriving at night it was worth the extra 20 to arrive swiftly and comfortably after the flight. The vehicle was a very smart Mercedes people carrier, very clean. I booked it again to return to the airport for convenience and paid at the hotel. Im regular visitor to Santorini and Ive stayed in many places on the island. Kamari is my favourite base and I always rent a scooter to explore the rest of the island with exception of Fira. I usually take the bus into Fira and back because traffic and parking even a scooter can be very hectic. 5 stars for Polydefkis and the friendly hardworking staff. Everything was perfect. Ill be back for sure.

  Perfect stay!

  We have just returned from a weeks stay at these lovely apartments situated in a great location close to the beach, shops and a large selection of restaurants. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and spacious and the bathroom had recently been modernised although it was a little cramped. Due to COVID restrictions breakfast that would ordinarily have been a buffet was served to you individually from behind a screen. There was a very good selection of food and the 2 ladies Otilia and Lina worked tirelessly every day under somewhat stressful circumstances to ensure everyone was happy and fed! They were always smiling and pleased to see you even when they were rushed off their feet. We really liked the small and friendly vibe this boutique accommodation had to offer and would not hesitate to return or recommend.

  Holiday

  Lovely apartments located in probably the best spot in Kamari. Very quiet due to Covid-19 but beautiful pool area, nice breakfast and our room is gorgeous. Biggest bathroom Ive seen in a 3* Greek hotel and recently refurbished so we are very happy. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Kamari
