  Excelente servicio, gran vista del mar

  He tenido una muy buena experiencia en este hotel. Las señoritas de la recepción han sido muy amables,su trato es alegre y cordial. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y muy limpias, y lo mejor es que no tienen alfombra, excepto por una pequeña al lado de la cama. El baño estaba limpio y sin malos olores. Habían útiles de aseo pero extrañé una peineta !!!. La vista hacia el mar desde el piso 22 es inmejorable. Pasé largo tiempo observando el mar, el río y el tráfico marítimo. El hotel tiene sauna, jacuzzi y piscina, y todo funcionando sin excusas. Y el desayuno, que delicia, una gran variedad de ensaladas, aderezos, panes, repostería, quesos, etc. En comparación a otros hoteles de la zona, su desayuno es lejos el mejor, por calidad y variedad. Recomiendo por sobre todo servirse un Beef Rendag, el mejor que he comido en cualquier lugar. Por último mencionar al staff que está a la entrada del hotel, todos muy amables y con buena disposición. En general todos los que trabajan en el hotel andan de buen ánimo y eso se agradece. En resumen, muy buen hotel, disfruté mi estancia.

  Different vibe now post-MCO

  I have been a frequent guest at Pullman Miri (due to work). Great staff (from reception, breakfast, lounge), big rooms. The Executive Lounge has one of the best view, in my opinion. My last trip was back in March before the MCO struck. Had the opportunity to come back to the hotel again this week and was excited to return (probably too excited). Of course, with Covid-19 related SOPs in place, the lounge is closed. Alternative offer for evening cocktail is at the lobby's Cafe. I will not comment on the food offered (see photo). I'm just missing the old vibe from the old staffs, pre-MCO. Being a Platinum member, I think I should not be made to feel unwelcome / suspicious when requesting for alcoholic beverages. Or at least I could have been informed on the alternative arrangements during Check-in (instead of trying to guess around). Check-in staff was probably to stressed out or was just having a bad day. These small personal gestures by the staff pre-MCO was what made my stay memorable in the past. Anyway, still a great hotel to stay. Will miss the good times pre-MCO and embrace the new normal.

  Lovely view of the waterfront

  Pullman Miri Waterfront With the newly imposed lockdown in KL, our initial plans for a vacation there were ditched. We spontaneously decided on a trip to Miri, and stayed in Pullman Miri Waterfront. Being currently one of the newest hotels in Miri, Pullman never fails to exhibit its slick contemporary modern vibes. The designs are beautiful, and this is already evident the moment one enters into the lobby. Located in the heart of Miri, directly at the Miri Waterfront, the location is perfect for those who wish the convenience of touring Miri. Due to a last minute booking, the first night in Pullman Miri Waterfront was spent in a deluxe suite facing the city. That view was not at all spectacular. I requested for a change of room the next day, and lo and behold, waterfront-facing suites truly had the best view. The superior rooms tend to be city-facing and more budget friendly. I personally feel that paying for a deluxe suite facing the waterfront makes the most out of your stay, however. The view is worth it all; it defines Miri. Let me describe it as best as possible. Rugged boats passing through the serene Miri Waterfront while ferrying workers involved in the petroleum industry rustic-looking homes on stilts by the river banks Canada Hill towards the right side of the horizon beautiful endless blue seas towards the left side of the horizon watching Miri locals go about their lives. Some could spend hours doing that You get this view also at the infinity pool. By the side of the pool is the gym, which is furnished really well with new equipment. Breakfast to me was mostly average. The service could be improved, with a better selection. They didnt have Sarawak Laksa, which to me, was iconic of Pullman Kuchings breakfast. If I were to return to Miri, Id come back again because of the location and that serene view.

  Big comfortable room

  The hotel management has made a great effort to follow the SOP in this new norm to ensure the guest stay is pleasant. Temperature scanning is done at entry point and all staff wear face mask. All guest is require to wear a plastic glove while dining in the Kitchen. Overall, it is a good hotel to stay in.

  One of my favourite hotels in Miri. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Great service by friendly and helpful staffs. Breakfast is excellent. Lastly, don't forget to join the All Accor membership to enjoy the benefits.
