  Sólo para familias

  El camping es enorme, bien situado, cómodo, con mucha sombra y posibilidad de alquilar distintos tipos de cabañas pero es estrictamente para familias con niños. No está pensado para parejas jóvenes. Además, tiene dos inconvenientes: su precio no aparece por ningún lado (supuestamente es por motivos de marketing) y es por parcela (da igual si duerme 1 persona que 8) y por tanto es un precio altísimo (107 dos personas con tienda enana y sin coche durante dos días) y el camping se reserva una zona de tumbonas de pago que reduce la zona de descanso y baño si no quieres pagar. El supermercado y restaurante tienen precios bastante buenos. No volvería a menos que tuviera hijos.

  Camping encantador

  Nos ha encantado el camping Punta Ala. En el medio de una reserva natural como la maremma, con una playa preciosa y cristalina a la que se llega por caminos de un bosque, conciencia ecológica, respeto por la naturaleza y mucha organización. Nosotros reservamos una parcela para hna tienda pequeña, en una zona sin electricidad, y fue una desxonexion total. Imprescindible contar con un coche para moverse, y a pocos km hay varios pueblos medievales que vale la pena conocer. Allí cerca hay también varias calas a las que se ouede llegar con un trekking. Volveremos sin duda!

  Hosted by nature... and that's it.

  PROS: - very nice location in real pine wood - high Covid-19 awarness and strict rules - nice entertainment program. CONS: - if you consider coming with a camper or caravan - THINK AGAIN. Very narrow alleys with branches extending over it - practically a guarantee that you will scratch your (rented?) camper. Premium pitches that make it almost impossible to that are almost impossible to drive into. For those reasons driving out of the camping took as nearly 55 minutes, one person driving and four of us moving bushes and branches aside! - sanitary facilities are on a level adequate to 2/3 star camping. - very narrow and crowded beach.

  4star resort with no customer service

  Lets begin with the resort itself. If your looking for something in the middle of nowhere to relax and recharge your batteries then this is a perfect place. Its in a beautiful pine forest with a beautiful beach with crystal blue green waters. The waters are warm and just perfect for swimming. The location is just beautiful. There is loads of activities to do including bike riding, rope challenges in treetops, boat riding etc but be prepared to pay for it all! The resort itself is nowhere near 4 stars but you are paying 4 stars. Things are dated and need some tlc. I booked a Limo home and arrived to find I wasnt on the list and then at reception was given a easy home and was told that that was what I had booked and that I must of pressed the wrong button! The site is very specific on what home you choose and leaves no room for error but after arguing for over 15mins I decided it wasnt worth ruining my hols and got customer relations contact instead. If you want to eat in the restaurants in the resort which are two make sure you pre book as soon as you arrive as there is never ever any availability. The way the staff ignore you standing there to ask a question or book a table or just request a price is phenomenal!! They will walk past you a dozen times and even when you ask can I ask something you get the most arrogant attitude and a short sharp reply to get rid of you as quickly as possible. Every morning we rented the sun umbrella and communication is non existent once again, there were strong winds but when they rented you the sun umbrella you were not informed in the first two rows you couldnt open them due to the winds. So myself and loads of other families paid extra for first row sat down to open the umbrella only to be told abruptly by the lifeguard no no and just walked off. After going back to the kiosk we were told we couldnt open the sun umbrellas in the two front rows but in the third we could. So we swapped to the third. But do you think they refunded me the difference in price?! Of course not! We spent the next hour seeing the same thing happening with a whole bunch of other families...would it not be easier to be honest and tell your guests that those rows were no umbrella only???! Cant understand why I would have to pay anyways if its part of the resort? This is absolutely appalling customer service for a 4 star resort and management need to address this seriously. I work and manage people in hospitality for 14yrs and this is poor management of staff and expectations. Guests should always be what we are there for. After all without them the hospitality industry is non existent... Its a 5 star for the place its set in but a 1 star for service, communication and organisation. Improve this and it will be a 5 star review.

  Quiet, spotless, authentic highly professionally run resort

  In the midst of the pandemic, where lots of complex rules and regulations must make professionally running a resort such as this very complex, we found a very well-run resort that was spotlessly clean. An impressive outcome! The campsite is combined with a broad range of small wooden cabins, integrated harmoniously. We stayed in a cabin and found it comfortable and super clean. The guests are often couples or young families and, because of the pine trees and distance from any source of noise, the environment has a beautiful vibe to it. There is sun and shade well proportioned for everyones taste. The beach is at less than 5 minutes walk straight from the camping, and the path there is safe and scenic. The beach is guarded and clean and, for parents with young children, only accessible through an electronic gate. For those who enjoy a quiet vacation in a beautiful environment, this is a clear hidden gem!
