  Okay but probably wouldn't return

  Thankfully we only stayed here one night. My husband and I don't have high standards, we have stayed in plenty of average motels and hotels in various countries. However this is one of a only a handful that we would not ever want to return to. The reception closes at 3pm, so we had to call when we arrived to get our keys out of the safe. It was not much a hassle really but we only arrived at 5pm which I wouldn't really call a 'late check-in'. We couldn't find the car park (which was the main reason we'd booked here), but another guest gave us some directions and explained we had to go around the back. To get in the car park was extremely tight and required a 52 point turn to get in (slight exaggeration). Our room was very dated (not a big deal) but seemed stale and uncared for. It did have a full kitchen which was nice but we didn't need it. The sink in the bathroom moved if you even lent against it gently, I was paranoid it was going to come crashing to the ground in a thousand pieces. We only stayed one night and we got a good nights sleep and a shower (although the water pressure was non-existent), and there was nobody to be found when it was time to check out so I left the key in the room. I will definitely book elsewhere next time.

  Fake website photo, Old room, dusty hairdryer,rusty kettle and no spa

  On the website it says there is spa and gym and when we arrive the staff advice that they've just pulled the spa out so there is no spa and the signage were still in the hotel. Very misleading.when you first walked in the lobby looks grand but when you walked into the room it was very old and dusty. Dusty hairdryer,rusty kettle and service was worst ever. We were told that breakfast weren't include and the reception lady said 'if you are looking for good breakfast I recommend xxx' but when I showed my booking to the reception lady and she said 'oh yeah' and didn't even apologize. I'm entitled to a breakfast for the next day. And the service desk is always unattended. there was this medium-fat lady with black hair I don't know what's her name but she's the rudest person ever. We ask to swap a really rusty kettle from the phone wanted to make some tea and she said 'can't do it right now come down 15 minutes later! This is what a reception staff will say? And also we booked in for a king bed it turns up was 2 single bed joint together and was super uncomfortable and can feel the crack in the middle of the bed. This is what I paid for $209. Please don't go.

  Good simple hotel

  Myself and my partner stayed here during our trip to Melb. Was enough for 4 nights and a good spot. A little out dated but didnt affect my stay. Great location, close to train station. Was happy with our choice.

  Great location

  Great location with only a 5 minute walk to train station. The apartment is a little dated but still comfortable. A little disappointed we had no power to half of the apartment on arrival. Rectified by call to manager. There was no soap, body wash, shampoo , conditioner in containers. There is no lift to upper levels. Property could be enhanced by a good clean outside maybe with a high pressure water hose. Bonus was that there is carparking at the rear for$10 a night.

  Convenient and Comfortable

  I ve stayed here 6 times and always enjoyed my stay. Staff friendly and very helpful. Studio is clean and equipped with appliances. Bed comfortable and always get a good nights peaceful quiet sleep. Location is ideal close to trams trains and coffee shops and restraurents.
