  Cozy Place

  We had a first floor room with parking right outside our door. The carpet and walls were colorful which I enjoyed instead of the normal brown carpet and white walls. The beds were comfy. There was a large sink with plenty of counter space outside the bathroom which was great for the room and that the mirror didn't fog up. The shower head had different settings and the water pressure was fantastic so all that was a plus too. The hotel is right off the interstate and behind a Western Sizzler restaurant . The restaurant has a buffet to die for! It was quiet, had a mini fridge, microwave, etc. Breakfast had the usual waffles, eggs, cereal, bacon, etc. but it wasn't stocked very well. We did not eat there. I would still highly recommend this hotel for the great room.

  Showing wear

  Still a nice hotel, but getting older. Ive always been a fan of this hotel since it was built, but its fast becoming just another hotel. Its in need of new carpets and new mattresses, you can really see the wear in both. The hotel is showing its age in odor too, the freshness of the new has long worn off. Ceilings and walls need scrubbed and painted to freshen the rooms. The staff is wonderful. Rosa is a Gem, she went above and beyond: I went next door to have supper, but the Western Sizzlin was closed, I wasnt wanting fast food as there is also a Hardees on location, so I went back to the Lobby and asked Rosa if there was anything else close. Rosa asked me if I like hot stuff. I said yes, and she offered me her supper: she explains that she worked long hours that day and prepared 2 lunches, but was about to go home, and would eat there. She gave me her stuffed peppers (jalapeños) and white rice, and it was amazing! Thank you Rosa for the delicious meal! I wish I had asked you for the recipe.... should you see this review Id greatly appreciate if you had time to email it to me. YUMMY DELICIOUS!!!

  What a delightful gem!!

  Who knew such a lovely place was where you might least expect it? Icing on the cake are by far the nicest hospitality personnel we have ever had the pleasure to meet! We started with Chris- everything we needed, and wanted- met with a huge smile- Yes!! of course, and Voila!!- all was handled very professionally- extremely WELL DONE!! (we found out later that this outstanding young man is the owner!!). The room is spotless, very tastefully updated, and none of the frequently musty smells. Thank goodness. The next morning Nick put out a very nice breakfast, with brilliant, helpful conversation. Terrific guy!! We had a difficult weather travel day- couple of really bad accidents with huge delays- and they turned everything around for us. Thank you gentlemen so very much.

  Not very clean...

  Stayed here just one night while headed to St.Louis. Convenient location off of I-24. Good price, easy check in. But, non smoking room smelled like smoke, bed was too hard, and two of the pillow cases were dirty. The inside of the door was filthy, as was the baseboard tile in the bathroom. (See photographs) Would not stay here again...mainly because of the cleanliness issues.

  Great place - helpful staff, perfect room, all amenities!

  Unexpectedly GREAT lodging here in the Tennessee hill country. Desk clerk Rosa was exceptionally helpful, showed me a room perfectly suited to the needs of my disabled veteran hubby - spacious, clean and has good fast wifi and plenty of plug-ins - a luxury stay at an affordable rate, just what we needed at the almost-end of a cross-country road trip. Thanks!
