  Great location but not worth the money

  Location right next to the lake was fabulous. Everything else was unfortunately not! The beds were so uncomfortable and hard that we woke up everyday with a numb side from lying down. We also had to ask for more pillows as they were flat like pancakes. The room was also extremely basic. There was no one ever at reception so you had to walk all the way down to the restaurant to walk back up again. Also there was no lift up to our room so we had to walk up about 45 stairs carrying a heavy case. The breakfast was ok and the lady serving breakfast was very attentive. The cleaner took the card from our key one day so we could not use the air con or lights. We had to go and hunt for it in the hotel. Parking was a nightmare. We rang the reception to ask where the car park was and he told us we had to go to the hotel first to get the card. This meant we had to pay to park elsewhere to check in and then go and move the car again. The man was extremely unhelpful and we felt like we were asking too many questions because he hadnt told us anything. Definitely not worth the money!!

  Great hotel

  We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location on harbour provides great views.. The cafe downstairs is a great place to eat in evening. Parking is provided free but as this hotel is in the nice old town centre the car park is a short walk. The staff are unbelievably friendly and welcoming.

  Another wonderful stay at The Remat!

  We have just enjoyed our second stay at the Remat. A wonderful boutique type hotel beautifully refurbished in 2011 and still looking like new. Great views of the lake, superb food and so well looked after by Simon, Benjie, Kalid and Julia. Thank you Team Remat!

  Excellent stay!

  We stayed at Hotel Remat during our last holiday as a couple before we become a family of three. We found the location of the hotel brilliant, lovely views, and free parking a short walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast which included coffees, croissants, omelettes and fruit. Thanks for an excellent stay!

  A total dreamy holiday

  Faultress hotel, cannot come up with ONE thing to say bad about this hotel or even anyone working here. This is the best hotel in the area given the price of course, the location by the beach is fantastic, the food is the most delicious, and we loved the boutique feel. ADORE!
