  beautiful hotel but no elevator

  Beautiful, traditional hotel in beautiful, quiet surroundings. Great service, but no elevator to top floors.. but hotel employees will help you out. Good wifi and absolutely delicious restaurant. Fantastic wine list, of course! Definitely worth a stay.

  Great concept aber not yet perfect

  First of all I have to tell that I was invited as a guest speaker at a company event and I did not have to spent a dime for me and my family during the stay. The castle is now run by a french company named Châteauform. It is not longer used as a hotel but rather as a location for company events. The idea is great. You are welcomed as you are at home. Snacks, drinks, food all is included and available everywhere around the house. The host family is quite nice and supportive and welcome you even at inconvenient times (midnight) with great pleasure. Kitchen is great and the location spectacular close to the Rhein. During the sty, there was just one downside. The rooms were no properly equipped with towels, bath robes and things you would like to expect in a hotel of this category, though it is not run as a hotel anymore.

  Incredible surroundings, not 5 star hotel

  The place is incredible, beautiful building and very nice staff. We came for a three day workshop. My room big and very clean. Food was very good. They have all over the hotel coffee machines, water, some food... so you can help yourself as often as you wish. The surroundings are just amazing, no words! right by the Rhein. BUT... the place needs an urgent set-up. Wifi kept disconnecting, and above all, air conditioning did not work at all. Right now I feel deceived as I called the reception to ask about it, and they just told me to wait a bit and it would work, and now reading other comments, I see it just doesn´t work and they know it. Very badly managed. It is imposible to sleep there when it´s hot. For the price that they charge, they should fix it. No tv in the rooms (pity); I understand the slow life concept, but when you go to bed, you may like to watch a bit of tv. They have free parking. They also have swimming pool and gym, and everything you may need ready to be used. It´s half and hour away from Frankfurt airport. In brief: incredible place that needs an urgent update.

  Nice location, but room very hot

  We had a business meeting and stayed in this hotel for one night. My room was located in 3rd floor under the roof. Due to sunshine the room was heated and very hot over night, it was nearly impossible to sleep very well. Positive were the breakfast, the fast WiFi and free parking lot, the small fridge in the room as well the opportunity to prepare food on your own (see picture). Nevertheless an air condition system is necessary.

  Conference trip

  Extremely nice hotel with a friendly team of people who genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. The building is picturesque with an abundance of activities scattered around the facility. The cellar has an amazing bar where you just help yourself to all manner of drinks!
